On my ride home today I got to thinking (I know, probably not a safe thing for me to do on the highway)... Anyway, a lot of big-assed trucks had bras on their front grilles, reducing their air instake to maybe 25% of what it normally is. I was just trying to figure out why, as their turbos must love that cold air. Perhaps it is because the diesel is so hard to combust? If it gets too cold it doesn't run well? Hrmph, I dunno, I'm gonna google it and I'll let y'all know. Maybe "Team" can shed some insight upon us?
Found some stuff. Granted this is for smaller vehicles I'm sure it has the same effect on larger ones: http://www.tonnocover.com/products/fiafronts.php

Continuing this discussing from the old forum...
I spoke with Events and Conferences and they are going to contact Matt Purdy with parking services regarding the lot situation. The plan is to register this event as a University sponsored event, so the lot we choose can be completely blocked off. These individuals are working hard for us, so I will update this situation asap.
Gerald has provided the officers with a huge list of improvements and suggestion from past MM car shows. One great idea is having the break dance team demo at the show. I know Justin is a member of that team. Does anyone else have a contact with the break dance team?? Also, would there be a fee for having them demo at the show?
On another note, does anyone have access to a generator (or 2), folding tables, TV and playstation for GT3/F355 games, and racing or best motoring videos. We also need a pickup to transport this stuff. I would really like someone to assist in the setting up and running of games and videos. The club has a tent we can use for this but if anyone has access to an extra tent that would help even more.
For the DJ, I have a friend who would be willing to use his speaker and stereo equipment for a reasonable price. ASA sorority has paid him $200 to use his stereo and speakers and to be a DJ for their semi-formals. Is this price higher than a "normal" DJ? This way we can play any music we want. How does this sound??
Other entertainment at the show could be Moon Bounce, Mechanical Bull Ride, Air Ride, Pocket Bike/Karting Demos. Here is some contact info for these:
Points of Contact
Woodbridge Karting Club (www.woodbridgekartclub.org)
Pocket Bike Racing Network (www.pbrn.com)
Captial Area Pocket Bike Racing Assocation (www.pocketbikeracer.com)
Ekartingnews (www.ekartingnews.com) [The number one karting board on the net]
Things we need:
-Break Dance Team contact
-Generator
-Folding Tables and a way to transport them
-TV
-Play Station
-Games-GT3 and or F355
-Racing videos
-VCR or DVD to play videos
-extra tent
-Contact with pocket bike organization and or karting organization

Just as it says...second generation Eclipse GS-T sidemount intercooler.
Not in the greatest condition, bent fins and dirty, as can be expected after just under 83,000 miles. Cleaned regularly with alchohol by me for the last 30k or so. Great for a custom turbo set up if you're going to be pushing less than 250 at the wheels and don't need a blingy frontmount.
Lowball me at --> Mille2ta@jmu.edu I'll probably accept.

Nice new forum, same dirty old ad.
Set of 4x450cc injectors out of my 98 Eclipse GS-T.
Come with original o rings, have less than 83,000 miles on them.
I'm entertaining offers at Mille2ta@jmu.edu.
Make them as low as you want...I'd rather drop these for next to nothing locally than deal with hassle of putting them up on ebay and shipping them out.
