im trying to get rid of some decent stereo equipment from my old car. my new one has a pretty good system in it already, so i just want to get this stuff out of my way. here is what's for sale:
- JBL 10 inch woofer in a Pro-bend bandpass style box, about 1.5'x1.5'x1.5'. box is in excellent shape, covered in dark blue felt, with 2 ports. has a plexiglas window to see the sub. no drilling or any kind of mutilation to the box. the sub is in fine shape as well, no tears or scratches anywhere. woofer and box together weigh about 25 pounds, in case that matters.
- Crossfire 140watt amp, works like a champ, is very entry-level so not too many fancy features. I used it to power the sub, and it makes a great combo. 140 isn't much, but it does a fine job with a small 10 inch.
asking $65 bucks for the whole enchilada. this is a really good sounding sub...much of the credit goes to the box, its a perfect match for the sub. doesnt reach really low on the bass scale but it hits quite hard. you can reach me at bradfosk@jmu.edu. thanks,
scott

Its for my ones of my roomates but Im looking for someone in the H-burg area that does work on hondas. Particularly a 95 Accord.
Problems: Car was over heated i dont know for how long, but it has a busted radiator now as well as possibly motor damage. When its running theres a loud klacking noise coming from the timing belt side of the head or around there.
Either way, he needs to get it fixed. So if any one can recomend a good mechanic to do work on the side or a good shop, Id appreciate it.
Thanks.

Does anyone know of a local junkyard?
I want to pick up a automatic window switch for my car and I figure a junkyard might be a cheap place to look.

Well whoever had February in the "When will Matt Move Again Pool" is probably going to get their payout. I was informed last night that the replacement for the roommate that moved out in Dec isn't going to be moving in, and my other roommate is moving in with her boyfriend in Alexandria.
The landlord wants to jack up the rent and find a nice family to move in, but she's given me the chance to find my own roommates and keep the situation as it is since I'm there.
So basically by the end of February I either have to find a new place to live, or I have to find two new roommates willing to live in Centreville, pay $500 a month each, 1/3 of the utilities, and deal with only two reserved parking spots. It's a great place on the inside, extremely spacious, but the parking situation does suck.
