Brake checking the Merc SUV tailgating you in your office's parking garage and hearing them lock up their wheels.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Had to pick up the better half at the airport a couple weeks ago. Dulles has that big stupid loop you have to keep cruising around if you're too early because they don't want too many cars parking in front of the doors and waiting for people. It's also a 15 mph road with signs warning you about radar monitoring, and usually no less than four cops within eyesight.
I'm staying in the left lane doing my best to keep it to 15-20 mph, someone is doing the same in the lane next to me, a dude in an Infiniti comes flying up behind me at 50mph, makes a point of waiting till the last second to slam on his brakes and starts waving his hands and having a hissy fit. We're just coming up to the building at this point, where all of the cops sit, and where the 15mph signs are.
I ease back a little more to really piss him off, roll down my window, point at the 15 MPH and Radar sign as I pass it and give him the thumbs up. I can basically see him blow a blood vessel and he starts giving me the finger and punching his steering wheel. I gave him a friendly wave out of the sunroof and continued doin' me.
Funnily enough we both ended up stopping to pick up our passengers at the same time at the same door. I made eye contact with him the entire time I was out of the car but suddenly he had a lot less to say to me. :dunno:

No that was a director who was in charge because my manager had quit.
No tie required! It's a very casual environment - jeans are good and shorts in the summer!!

my inlaws bought my son a little toy-grade $35 r/c rock crawler. its legit super fun, but we killed it in 48hrs doing cool stuff with it like little jumps and banging over obstacles. the axle gears were spinning on the axle shafts due to a cheap, loose fit and just taking some shock loads (hobby grade r/c cars have slipper clutches to negate this). normal course of action is treat it like a disposable toy or return, and i had already thrown the box away. i hate throwing out little cars like these because of 1 out of 200 parts that went bad.
got back into my teenage r/c car mindset and tore into it today for a lunch break and drilled a tiny hole through the gear + axle together and pinned them into place with a piece of paper clip, McGuyver style. no more slip, drives like new, should be pretty rugged now (until all the teeth strip off the gear  ). saved from the trash, for now!

Mind blown. Why the hell don't coffee shops do that?

I was seriously like:
I think she actually stole the idea from SBUX who started doing it a few months ago to keep their iced drinks from getting watered down. They do it as an upcharge of like $.80 though
It is a complete game changer at home ...it's too hot here right now for hot coffee in the afternoon so I'm always drinking it iced. But it gets so watery by the end. I'm at the bottom of my current cup and it's just getting better and better!!

The Yankees long awaited return to being the Evil Empire:

Sorry, Polen!
Bonus points if we pull off getting life-long Yankee fan Bryce Harper next off-season.

He is not going directly from Baltimore to New York. They aren't stupid enough to trade him within the division...well maybe they are. But I highly doubt it. He is going to command a lot of money when his contract expires which the Yankees can probably afford for the moment. But there is zero chance you are getting Harper so don't get your hopes up. He is going to the Cubs to hang out with his friend Bryant. The yanks won't be able to afford Stanton, Machado, & Harper and we aren't even considering Judge when his rookie deal is up in what, 2-3 years?
