So we have a gear grinding thread which gets some pretty healthy traffic on this forum, but I am making a concerted effort this year to be more positive about everything, especially in light of how much of a shit show 2016 was in general (ok, that's the last negative thing for this thread :thumbup: )
I'm starting a positive thread. You know what I freaking love? Having one of the busiest/best days at work ever, I see a local farm we love post up fresh bacon for sale on their Facebook page, I text my wife about it because it always sells out instantly, she walks in my office door less than 5 minutes later with a bag of it. She saw the pic before I did and ran over and snagged some along with some fresh eggs :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
And then I get a call from Gamestop that the PS4 Platinum headset I ordered just came in after I had called them earlier today and they said that they would be in later this week. AND THEN wifey brings home the mail and I have mail from my office and it's a $200 gift card they gave out to employees at the Christmas dinner we couldn't attend because it was across the country. WHA?! Pays for the headset and then some :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

For the first time I think ever at JMU, I have a real 4 day weekend because I have no Friday classes and haven't started at work yet this semester. I work Sunday, but that doesn't matter much to me. I have 4 days with no class and no obligations. I've been in bliss. No alarm clock this morning and nothing really to do so I played my xbox and watched netflix. Even went to the gym. I graduate in 4 months and while I don't have a job lined up, I'm not strapped for money right now so I don't foresee many 30+ hour weeks this semester.
The warm weather means I've been driving the Miata and it's been running well. We went on a cruise yesterday and it was a lot of fun! We found a guy that flipped his truck over the side of the mountain and I helped him out and he was not hurt. If I was there a few minutes earlier, he would have hit me head on, so I've been very grateful how my timing worked out. Things have been pretty good.

its low 70's here and i have all the windows open with a nice even breeze, feels good man. watched the sky turn neon purple at sunset and my house smells like fresh bread because i just made some.

It was a good day. Found out I got a raise I wasn't expecting, left work at noon, went to the gym, then racked up at our local Sears which is getting ready to close. 30% off craftsman tools is something I freaking love.

Oh yeah. I need this. I'm one miserable fuck myself this is good practice.
Today was great, it wasn't too cold and I spent the entire day working on the car which felt great. I took my time and enjoyed the process to get everything and do it right and learn something new. Also soldered for the first time today. The new seats are amazing and my wiring job resulted in my heated still working!

When you get a super lowball offer from an "informed" buyer that states your high end suspension (motons) is worth "X" because he did some searching around on the forums.
Why was this good? Because I found this little nugget 5 minutes after receiving payment close to full asking price
