I don't know. It was his wife's dad's house. I didn't even think about it.
I'll be upgrading the rear to 5125's or whatever the super extended length is because apparently these are only good up to 3" of lift and I'm close to that, so why push it? Next I'll be saving for a front skid, then getting some Eibach lift springs for the front so I can change the spring seat on the bilsteins back to 0 (The eibachs lift 3 inches) and I can actually gain some travel up front. I just didn't have the money for it this time. So, next steps: Install these shackles, BPV bracket, and brake lines Front skid Eibach lift springs in the front Buy 5125s for the rear and sell these 5100s.

So, my airbox was getting water in it after pushing hard through deep water, so I put some more silicone on my deckplate.
![]() I also had found that the PVC hose I had used for the diff breather extension had a huge hole in it. I bought some more flexible 1/4" fuel line to replace it. First off: Thanks for the compliments, guys! Second: I wanted to be safe, so I bought some 75-90 today and changed the rear diff oil. Didn't look frothy or milky like it had an water in it, but it wasn't as clean as I'd want it to be after only 2 or 3k miles on it. Magnet on the drain plug had a good amount of metal on it, but nothing to worry about.A huge hole like that didn't let much (or any) water in, so this new setup done correctly will be great.

Got an e-mail from WheelersOffroad saying that my shackles are out of stock until at least next week, then they have to ship them.
I decided I'm not driving my mom's truck any longer so I found another nut, and took a HUGE 3/4th drive ratchet and all of my strength to crossthread that bitch all the way until it was flush. Nothing in the world will get that to come loose. I'll worry about getting it off later. I'm just more concerned about getting this aligned and driving it. ![]()

Getting vibrations at 20 mph. I think I need to put spacers at the carrier bearing to drop it down and reduce the angle.

Obviously its more expensive, but putting on a SYE will help you keep the clearance gains you now have from the lift. putting in spacers and droping "X" only allows you to fit bigger tires and not really gain true clearance with what is under the truck.
Im not sure what your truck has... but on Jeeps the slip yoke is what forces the drive line angles, which produces the vibrations. getting a SYE is a long term solution to drive line vibrations that maximize what you have just done with your lift.

Oh, yeah, from the looks of it, that won't help me. My driveshaft has a carrier bearing mounted to a crossmember halfway down the truck since the driveshaft is so long. You can't even install a SYE on my truck and it wouldn't even help as far as a I know.

is there a solution for you that wont require you to put in spacers and lower stuff? with a "long" drive train you usually don't get vibrations. you will want to fix the issue since vibrations eat at U joints and cause weird tire wear (which cause more vibrations).
