NOOO! Don't do that!! I uttered that phrase and was corrected immediately. We are a *driver's club* NOT a "car club", sir.

Didn't say I was. I have already talked to every officer and I was just doing designs to see what it would look like.

No one corrected me on that either, I didn't know. :dunno:

Can we have a thumbnail page at the end devoted to our bicycles or otherwise boring cars? Most alumni don't have anything "cool" anymore Tongue

I started an MM cafepress site years ago. If someone wants access to it (if nothing else for the URL) to put a calendar on it let me know.
Most of it is just regular cafepress stuff with the MM logo, but I spent some time doing a MM clock that looks like a tach that is pretty sweet.

I also have the official/original MM logo files in different sizes if anyone needs them (gerald probably does too)

How dare you insinuate that a VW in MM is cool. The inner circle is currently discussing whether or not to delete your account for this infraction.

Ya, seriously. I left out stock or otherwise not very cool cars. Your bar is clearly much lower than mine.

I mean, everyone listed above has interesting, neat cars. They're not all supercars or anything, but it's not like we're rolling around in Camrys after giving up on life.

I can find pictures of you guys and your mostly not-so-special cars on Facebook. Why would I want to buy a paper version of it? For this to work (and by work I mean be worth somebody's time in order for jt to break even), it needs to be the more special cars and they need to be photographed well. I'd much rather see someone who is capable of doing a project like this instead focus on writing articles of those "special" cars for the website.

I'd say some of the cars we already have can work if we do professional artsy photos.

I'd still seek out exotics if at all possible, I know some of us have some connections that we could probably work on that end.

Another avenue we could potentially do is make an auto calendar full of artwork. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Madden in a long time but a calendar with work at that level of quality would be nice, although the trick would be getting the art done in a timely fashion. Good artwork isn't usually something that can be done quickly, or if it's quick it may not be cheap.

That'd be sweet. Can we get the link to look at the stuff? Or is it one of those things where you can only buy it if you're the owner of the account?

I could do some artwork for the calendar but this time of year isn't particularly good because I'm gearing up for spring/summer, trying to chase down retailers, working on a licensing deal with a manufacturer, etc.
