WANT.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

That's a badass winch and a pretty snappy way to mount a Hi-Lift where or where did you ever come up with the winch and idea?

Friggin sweet... Don't mind the current ride height, but I'd like to see the little 2" lift

I agree with Lee, OEM accessories just seem to always fit the design better, looking less like afterthoughts.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

Thanks guys! Fuck you Zach. I almost drowned in the damn thing last night because it leaks like nobody's business. I hope to have that fixed sometime next week, hopefully picking up a gently used top off CL later today. As for the 2in lift. I like the look as it is, I think I will love it even more with the lift. I can't wait to get that on the thing once it comes in. I assume dickhead will come help me with that (wink, wink)

Picked up a new 2007 model top I found on CL in Vienna yesterday. Fits so much better and the zippers work so much smoother. Plus I got tinted windows and it seems to have mostly fixed my leaks! I still need to get a foam kit for the door surrounds as they revised the foam used in 2008 so even though these are new they lack that change. I'll snap a pic once I clean it up tomorrow. I think I am going to shine it up.

Exactly. The half doors really do make the problem much worse. Once I get this $20 foam kit I ordered today I will pretty much have brought this 07 up to date as far as you can without switching to the 2011 top style. The only thing left to do short of that would be a new header seal. It was a damn piss stream coming in the window in a decent rain at a stoplight before this top. I left it out last night in the fairly strong rain we got. It had a little water on the drivers floor and slightly more on the passenger's side with a little on the door. Hopefully the foam will get me as leak free as possible.

Wink you going to instruct your sales staff to discourage half doors?

That's what my thought was so I did a little research on the almighty Jeep Forum  and found this thread. Although the thread isn't that long it has a lot of links to useful threads.
