they wanted $2700 to buy back. I talked to the body shop and the guy that did the assessment said if I had the time and space to rip the front end down it might be worth it but he'd look for something else.

I'm sure i'll see it as the body shops parts runner or something lol

no after the readjustment they wanted $2700 for it. but you HAVE to replace the hood because just to check anything under the hood you are going to have to screw it up some more... they couldn't get the hood open at the body shop.

Edit: That payout is less than what they gave me for my first XJ.. I think I bought it back for $400 and they gave me $3000 for it.

What insurance company do you have? $700 is an insult (glad you fought it and won, but still...) The payout for the Camry was 3k something with no fighting.

StateFarm... the report didn't come from them and the manager thanked me for pointing out the error of their contracting company because it was evidence they need to get their shit together. my only issue so far with statefarm is how long it takes to get your car to a shop
