Did you torque the crank bolt to "tight as all fuck"?
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

I think we did 150ish which was a smidgen higher than that the specs called for.

She did 3 codrives, 2 sets of fun runs and 18 runs altogether this past weekend. I think she's fixed! Despite the tires I'd say the car actually performed pretty well this weekend! Fun times. I have go pro video, but I'm waiting on a friend to upload them so i can share it. I'm still gonna sell it but I am trying to decide on just one car from here on out. I've got the fit for daily and I want the one fun car so I can now focus on skill and driving and setting up suspension. All my karting experience really showed in my comfort behind the wheel this weekend and I want to start developing that skill in a car more. So this will go and I'll find something else that I'm ok with having as the car I can properly learn on and buy parts and throw money at and tinker with as the years go by. No mo car jumpin.

Congrats on getting it healthy - remind me again now that it's fixed why you want to sell it? Miata is pretty much the answer for focusing on driving skill/suspension/tinkering on the cheap?
Because in the back of his mind, he fears the explosion of his crank.

I could write something long winded but honestly it can be summed up with the fact
A. I don't love miatas this was just a convenient purchase at the time that happened to be fun and I was gonna make the best of it. Until it became not fucking convenient.
B. If I'm getting something long term that i want to learn on, it's gonna have to be a BMW. It's where me heart is.

Don't hold y'all's breath. We ain't seeing anything anytime before next year. I'm focusing on and enjoying other things as well right now. Cars have taken up alot of my time. I'm enjoying not worrying about my car. The fit is nice, gets amazing mileage, amazing AC, trouble free, comfortable, it's relieving.
