So I don't drive but I've kept up with all the hooplah and one half is all for driving the new track and the other half is wetting their knickers over the walls on the road course (assuming they aren't removed by next weekend). Either way I'll be there to check out the place

Can Anyone Buy from Auto Auction (Need a Cargo Van)

I'm looking to buy a Ford Econoline or Dodge Sprinter as a support vehicle, and I know these end up at auctions often. I figured someone here problem has a hookup for auto auctions so I thought I'd ask. I'm looking to spend maybe $5k for an Econoline, up to $12k for a Sprinter.
If anyone has the hookup, or can at least get me some Mannheim values so I can negotiate intelligently, hit me up.

I'll be Rochester from July 11-22 for training for my new job. Anyone got recommendations on things to do? Places to eat (Dinasour bbq will be consumed obviously)? Will probably go to Niagara Falls as well on Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise I'll be in classes 8-5 every day. Yeah that's going to suck.

1992 Miata, 130k. It was repainted 6 months ago and then it went through a fence. Bumper, fenders and windshield frame dented (not bent, the hardtop still fit fine). No rust. The car has been garaged the last 8 years and comes with a clean title. It runs and drives great and would be an easy fix (or perfect Miata kart) he just doesn't want to look at it anymore. No top. Wheels pictured not included, it will come on a set of bronze daisy wheels. Located in Waynesboro, VA. Delivery possibly available.
$1000 firm

I have a set of Black and Decker Firestorm tools - all 18V
Sander - used but seems to work great
Sawzall - barely used
Circular Saw - barely used
Drill - 1/2" chuck, quick detach. Plastic casing is cracked but could probably be super glued. Seems to work otherwise.
2 slot battery charger
3 batteries - 1 holds a charge, 2000mah, 1 not working, 1 of unknown capacity
You can buy batteries for this kit still on amazon - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_n_feature_two_brow_0?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A328182011%2Ck%3Afirestorm+batteries%2Cp_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A2399137011&keywords=firestorm+batteries&ie=UTF8&qid=1467338285&rnid=2399136011">https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_n_ ... 2399136011</a><!-- m -->
I don't feel like replacing the batteries because i've upgraded my whole kit to Dewalt stuff.
I really liked the drill/driver, but someone stole a bunch of shit out of my garage back in the winter, so I replaced it with this kit I bought used, and haven't used it. I paid $100 for this as-is, minus a working battery. I'll sell it all for $75 OBO

Miata VVT Timing

So, I recently changed the water pump and timing belt on the old 2001 Yahter. Soon as it went back together, I got a rough idle and P0012 (over-retarded cam) CEL. In a continued effort to figure this out, I'm getting desperate enough to start posting pictures of my timing marks. Can someone take a look and confirm or deny that the gears are in line with their marks?
Thanks as always,

MM Lanyards

So, I asked the group chat last night, and it would seem that we have never had any MM lanyards. I, for one, would like to have one.
I got a quote last night for black nylon lanyards with Scott Bradford's Miata design. They'd look something like this:
![[Image: 1EsVb00.png]](http://i.imgur.com/1EsVb00.png)
First of all, are there any objections from the higher ups to a lowly peasant like myself having these made? Second, is there anyone here who would want one? To make them affordable, I'd be buying 50 of them. That should put the price per unit around $5. I don't mind paying for them up front, but I'd rather not buy 50 and end up with 45 sitting in my apartment until I throw them away.
Just a thought.

All Aboard for the Brexit Fire Sales!

So with Brexit making a big hit on international markets a lot of people are spooked and may be pulling their money out just to be safe, as well as liquidating assets. This may mean that a bunch of people will be fire selling their sports cars and other expensive depreciating assets.
In my useless internet car shopping I've noticed a number of supercars popping up for sale for significantly below the prevailing price in the days since Brexit.
991 GT3 for about $35k-40k under
Cayman GT4 for $20k under
I also saw a 458 being advertised at a ridiculous price ($100k when the next cheapest was $167k) by a very motivated seller before it got taken down.
Depending on the impact on markets Brexit has, there may be a steady trickle of people trying to get rid of sports cars. What I don't know is if this will also happen for cheaper cars in the $40-70k range. I feel like the guy buying a Corvette or GT350 is not going to be as sensitive to stock market prices. If there is a prolonged downturn, then maybe the prices of those cars will drop too. There may also be a bunch of people trying to unload their leases on lease swap sites.
Back in 2009 after the economic collapse Evan got his Exige for a smoking price that to this day I have never seen an Exige being advertised for. Don't think we'll see a bunch of deals like that but there will probably be some tantalizing deals to be had if this keeps up.
