looking for someone who works on hondas - m0neynh0s - 01-22-2004 Its for my ones of my roomates but Im looking for someone in the H-burg area that does work on hondas. Particularly a 95 Accord. Problems: Car was over heated i dont know for how long, but it has a busted radiator now as well as possibly motor damage. When its running theres a loud klacking noise coming from the timing belt side of the head or around there. Either way, he needs to get it fixed. So if any one can recomend a good mechanic to do work on the side or a good shop, Id appreciate it. Thanks. - .RJ - 01-22-2004 Neil Maddox. 540.578.1845 - Mike - 01-22-2004 I always took my Accord to these guys: Precision Imports 410 Waterman Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 Tel: (540) 433-7904 They primarily do Hondas, but yeah Neil is also a great guy especially if he knows you're with us
- JackoliciousLegs - 01-22-2004 Shenendoah automotive is great. Tell them your with Madison Motorsports (Jack Hirsch's club) and they'll give you a fatty discount - Team - 01-23-2004 I always delt with Mike who is a Head Tech at Harrisonburg Honda, did all the work on the old ITR at his house... If you need some info on him like his numer and how to reach him just give me a IM. - .RJ - 01-23-2004 If you've got time to spare, i think Neil will give you the best pricing, but may take him a little longer to get the job done. Although you can grease the wheel with a 12-pack of budweiser......
- Chris - 01-23-2004 I agree with RJ about Neil, his shop may seem a little sketchy but he knows his stuff and will inform you of every step he is taking. His prices are very reasonable and yes he'll wouldn't mind a 12 pack either... Just tell him all of us sent you. - .RJ - 01-23-2004 Tell him RX-7's suck too. That usually sends him on a rant for a while, its quite entertaining. - Mike - 01-23-2004 Better yet, tell him that he sucks! - .RJ - 01-23-2004 That doesnt usually invoke a rant, its not very entertaining. He might flip you the bird, but thats about it. - m0neynh0s - 01-23-2004 haha okay thanks for all the replies. I'll see what my roomate wants to do. - Feersty - 01-25-2004 A little random jackassery always helps with getting in with da mechanics.  |
