We announced the date of the PTG Tour to be April 23rd during the afternoon (1pm'ish).
Elections:
President (loser trickles to VP)
- Chris Procopio
- Hunter Brown
VP
- Travis Miller
- Ryan Thayer
Treasurer
- Dave Allen
- Chris Reed
Secretary
- Rob Feerst
- Scott Bradford
PR/Webmaster
- John Varona
The vote for my new leadership format proposal (President, Treasurer and then Chairmen of different event types) failed.
There is interest in working VMP (especially from Dave) but every weekend is pretty busy for the rest of the semester, we'll try to find some summer dates that will work and go from there.
Dave, Mike, and Travis plan on attending VMP, but Mike needs to find a rear seatbelt.
The car show will end with a BBQ at Dave's house, and then a party in Olde Mill that night.
I miss anything?

The BMW Ultimate Drive for Susan G. Komen is coming up again this year. It is a special event BMW puts on around the country where you can test drive any car in their lineup (except for the M's and no manuals). For each mile you drive BMW will donate $1 on your behalf to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research fund.
You have to be 21 to do it and of course have a valid driver's license. I think they'll have an event in Charlottesville and they'll most likely have one at FedEx field or Sterling BMW. Go to either or both. Sign up doesn't open till March 28th for FedEx (and/or Sterling) and March 29th for what I believe will be Charlottesville. See link below for more info.

I've done this three times and it is always pretty fun. You've gotta sign up early though because the cool stuff gets picked pretty quick. Now that the new 5 and 6 series are available as well as the Z4 this should be a really fun ultimate drive.

I have a suggestion to change the stylesheet so that links are underlined. (ie- like the rest of the internet)
example (its a link):
google
edit: because some people are a little slow on the uptake

I was walking through a jmu lot today and found a gorgeous m3 that I would love to see at our car show. As I love recruiting people for MM, I left him a "love note" telling him/her to visit mmsports.org and gave him my email. I would have loved to give him my screen name, but those of you that know it may understand why I'm reluctant to give it out to strangers.
SO, i decided that I'm going to register a new screen name solely for MM public relations type stuff. My new screen name is::::: "mmsportsorg"
Use it. Live it. Love it.

Both cars DNF, but Matt Richmond won the holeshot award, netting him $500.
James Sofronas, who drove for Bimmerworld at last year's event but now with GMG Somethingorother placed 3rd.

As with the last autocross, profit will be donated to MM. If we are able to sell this event out we should be able to make in the neighborhood of $750.
