Went to Summit Friday to Sunday this week to help my friend Chris [Apocalypse on HT]and his Dad out in the pits for the Jefferson 500, an annual vintage race. While the cars aren't up to par with some of the big-money cars in their class, both did VERY well this weekend, and I had a great time too. The 944 guys are awesome, definately worth a look if you're looking to go racing.

Im in malta at an internet cafe, cause its the only place to get the internet here. (internet cafe = beer + internet) This place is incredible, and theres old mini cooper's everywhere. What if MM made a CD of ultimate racing and or driving songs? For example, the theme to "gone in 60 second" and the lasted alternative song that talks about putting the pedal to the medal. My average speed increases at least 10 MPH when these songs come on, and it's not intensional. This is something that could be sold nationally through this website, and could generate a lot of income. Get SCCA and NASA to endorse it, sell it at HPDE's, etc.

Naturally, there is all that royality crap that we'd have to deal with, but I am sure there are ways to do this.

If we're not that open minded or ambitious, what about just having a list of songs that we all like?

What prompted this is that I'm trying to make such a mix, but I don't know the names of half of the songs I wanna hear. Thoughts?

i was just contemplating on what to buy carwise and was searching autotrader for cars. One car that has seemed to slip everyones consideration is a CRX. What is everyones views on a CRX? Is there something that hinders the CRX on track/autoX that makes people steer clear? I'm thinkin of selling the 20v and buying a crx to track/autoX. Definitely found a 1988 crx si with a new engine/tranny with a salvage title for 700 bucks and im mighty tempted. So what's everyones take on a 2nd gen CRX?

My experience with CRXs are that theyre just really light civics with tons of aftermarket. Anywho, discuss
