New to the club - Matt

Hey guys,
I am new to MM and JMU as well, I am a freshman.
I have gone to autocross events with my boss back home in Virginia Beach.
I do not have a car as of yet but it is in my plans to get a BMW 3 series at some point.
Just wanted to introduce myself. Definitely interested in your club and I plan on checking in with you guys at Student Org night this week!
Look forward to meeting other members and participating in the club

Hey Sully! Thanks! do you know what time the meeting will be at the parking deck? I have another one from 7-830 but want to make it to the MM one as well. Nice taste in vehicles. I saw your 2001 F150 in the signature. I have a 2002 F150 back home missing it like heck right about now.... anyway see ya this week!

We were palnning to shoot for around 7:00. The meet is really just to give new memebers or potential members a chance to meet the current members. Its a really great way to start learning who everyone is. Unfortunatley, becasue of how close everything falls in September, I'd hate for you to miss this but we fully understand if you have other meetings to attend. We will be squeezing in one legit meeting before the college autocross so you won't be completly lost. And of course, you can get the answers to any questions from most of the current members or any of the officers. My number is 804-three47-1642 if you have a question that you don't want to wait for a response to. Just text me whenever with your full name (only need this the first time you text) and your question or anything like that.

We will also be going off campus somewhere afterwards most likely to grab a bite to eat.

Yea, the F150 was my baby until gas went up even though I lifted it after gas prices went up. It kinda just gets neglected now and sits in the dirveway back home. I wouldn't mind having it back to stock so I could use it as a tow rig but nothin I can do about it now :dunno:

Don't worry about Justin, he secretley has a sweet spot for BMW's as you can see by his avatar, epecially e36 3 series. [Image: 1shifty.gif]

Hey Matt, welcome to MM! Justin hates on all the Bimmer owners but start talking about an E46 330xi wagon and he changes his mind Wink

Be great to see you out at the college AX and other AX/track stuff. If you don't fit in DJ's car (his seat doesn't move) I think I'll have the Miata up for grabs too. You don't want to autocross my BMW, trust me.

I'm starting to think Rex needs to put on a class for learning to drive stick. If he can teach me in a Geo Metro, he can teach you all.

Welcome to MM Matt!

I hope this initial post will be the beginning of long and unhealthy relationship with this club and AutoX.. It's a drug that knows no bounds..

There is a vast amount of knowledge and great people here on the forums( and in person) that you will surely get to know in due time..
I highly suggest you bug other members for ride along/co-drive for the collegiate auto-x.. It's well worth it!
