Audi S4 Avant- Detail write-up Premier Shine

So far 5 clients booked this week, I apologize for the lack of pics on this write-up business has been BUSY!

Vehicle: 2005 Audi S4 Avant in Brilliant Black
One step correction package
TIme to complete: 7.5 hours

Client requested a paint sealant application as well as a single step paint correction.

Exterior:
Zep Citrus 3:1, 5:1
Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner
Wheels- hand polished with Eagle One Nevr Dull
0000 steel wool on the tips, followed up with Eagle One Nevr Dull wadding
Uber spoke brush
Swissvax Pneu Brush
Various other brushes
303 Aerospace Protectant
Chemical Guys Maxi Sudz 2
Uber Blue Clay
Chemical guys luber

Interior:
ShopVac
Pre-spray with Folex
All interior carpets and mats extracted
Zep high traffic carpet cleaner
Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil Left on for 4 hours
Lexol pH cleaner
Zep citrus 3:1 / Simple Green 3:1
Swissvax Pneu & Leather brush

Motor:
Zep Citrus 1:1
Various brushes
Dressed with 303 protectant
Underside of hood clayed
Jams as well as underside sealed with PW as well

Correction:
Flex DA
Menzerna 106fa via orange uber pad

LSP- Menzerna Power Lock

Befores:




















Afters: Forgot to snap afters of the correction process under the halogens.... around 55-75 percent correction was achieved

if i ever bought a B6 S4 avant....i'd want it that clean, and in that color.

curious, did you find the clear to be fairly hard? i had a 99 A4 and the paint was measured between 5-6 mils and had a really tough clearcoat. totally the opposite of my subaru.

When I did my test panel with 106fa ( a finishing polish) I was expecting it to immediately fail and then I'd jump up to a medium polish and follow up with an ultra fine finishing polish but the one step with a medium cutting pad in conjunction with a finishing polish did surprisingly well! Overall the paint wasn't tacky at all, It was somewhat soft but definitely would take a couple passes with something more aggresive to get 95-100% correction like Menz SIP or Megs 105 , the Q7 I posted here had a ridiculously hard clear coat!
