The basics:
1997 ITR #280 Mileage on body: 111,xxx Title: Clean  Orignal Motor: Car seemed to have been some sort of show car/drag car, not many miles for a 97. Been told there was a 2.0L motor in there before, LS/VTEC, and now this b18c5 Rust: None from a quick inspection. The rubber seals in the rear fender well were still on, but pulled those off and no rust there! Garage queen perhaps? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways, a little backstory and what not. I've been wanting an ITR for the longest time, probably since I owned my first car. Financially it had never been possible, but things work out over time and I'm stoked to finally own one. The JDM front end, etc was cool to me when I was younger, but the '97 now is my favorite. I had been searching the forums for a shell to rebuild. I either didn't have the funds available at the time, or they were just not worth the money sellers were asking. 280 basically fell in my lap. The previous owner is actually friends with my room mate and another friend. I actually remember him telling me that he had a 97 and was gonna sell it, but I told him I wouldn't buy it because of the jdm front end... I was a little  280 came with some decent mods, most of them will be parted for the time being to help pay off some money towards the car + replacement parts. Mod's that will be getting parted (be on lookout for the sale ad) -AEM intake - I like the OEM airbox hrug:-Toda Header - minor dents, dont even know how. But sadly needs to go -Type Rx Black Exhuast - not even sure if this a type-rx exhaust -Megan Track Pipe -Apexi N1 Evo Street Coilovers -Rota SlipStreams/Falken Ziexs - no use for these at the moment -Mugen Front Strut Bar - :bling: -JDM Black Recaros - stock seats will do -Nardi Steer Wheel -NRG quick release hub -OEM Honda JDM front -VIS Spoon style front lip -Buddy Club Camber Kit Front & Back -6000k HIDs ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I've been catching so much shit about wanting to go back to the USDM front end, but I figure most people on here will understand. Other than converting back to the USDM front end my other immediate plans are: - Bushing refresh - Paintless dent removal for some minor dings in the rear - General inspection of motor (compression/leakdown) and go from there - Clean up wiring (FML) Might as well post some other pictures to make this thread somewhat interesting. Sorry for the shitty pics I was shooting in direct sunlight mid-day. Hopefully have some actual updates soon - gotta move the POS hatchback to get some work done.

Put me in the "You're crazy for going back to that absurd and ugly USDM front end" camp.
Sad Rex is Sad. CW ITR with JDM Front end? It's like one of the 3 hondas rex would ever consider actually owning.

ooooo very nice. always like those. please keep a malnourished bear tied to it and poke it often with a hot iron pole.
i think between the parts and front end you'll sell, you'll be able to get it where you want it. keep us updated...

Awesome pickup, I would definitely keep the JDM front end personally.
I agree on all your getting rid ofs but I would keep the seats, and steering wheel. Hondas steering wheels are fugly.

You think I'm gonna keep a stock wheel - just personally don't like the Nardi. And after looking at the price of it, i won't mind pocketing that money.
jdm front is OK i guess, if you like Hot Import Nights If this car was a '98 then I'd keep it on.EDIT: oh yeah, i have stock ITR seats that came with the car. So no big deal on selling the jdm ones. Plus i don't plan on tracking this car THAT much. The hatch will be the primary track car.

How much for the wheel and how deep it is, with my quick disconnect im worried about how thick my whole assembly is going to be.
