Spring 2013 MM annual car show

Date- Saturday APRIL 13th

Location- On campus- Baseball or C4 lot is being decided upon now between us and JMU
- as of the second week of January JMU was contacted and we have received the green light for the show

We will be hosting a charity event with local Big Brothers Big Sisters- for more info see the thread in the Lounge section.

UPDATE

We will be selling raffle tickets throughout the day- tickets are $3 for 1 ticket and $5 for 3 tickets - All proceeds will go towards our donation to BBBS!
So far the following baskets have been put together and will be up for grabs!
- Two car care baskets from Premier (me) valued around $60 each! Enough chemicals and supplies to perform many maintenance washes, cleanings etc.
- MM Apparel basket- club shirt, (black, purple or BOTH) several stickers, college challenge shirt too!
- FOUR Hyperdrive vouchers from NASA!!

We will have at least one more basket to come and donations to BBBS will be collected

current students with photo talent in MM: if you want a chance at showing off your auto-related work on the show flyer, send them to me. If your image works well with what we're trying to communicate, I'll build the graphics around your photo and note your name on the art. You'll help the club, help me, and have a nice little portfolio piece.

Typically we have members post on every car forum they can think of. But we need graphics in order to do it and get eyes on the thread.

its my fault. i was contacted to create flyers, and i need photography to do it, and we've gotten a really meager (but quality) response from the club members. just wanted to be sure that was all we were gonna get.

also dealing with a sick baby at home. i'll have them to you guys soon.

Scotty, just FYI if you're still hurting for shots, in my PM I mentioned having some shots from earlier campus shows ('08 and '09). I incorporated these into the fliers for the following year to have "example" pics and I think they worked out well for bringing attention to what this show could be - I've always been more impressed/willing to go to shows that have actual "historical" shots.

Raid away! Most of my stuff sits unused on one of my file servers. Always fun to take pics of cars though!
