I don't think you'll believe me, but I honestly posted on the topic repeatedly because I wanted to see if you'd tell me I was wrong. I like that as much as our lives change, some things don't. Me being a known it all. You being the guy who actually knows it all. It's comforting.
FWIW, our infant was waaay worse than our big ass Clek convertible is.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. I'll sell you an RS6.
Car seats fit fine and the rear seats are heated for your co-workers pleasure.
Trunk also holds a stroller, pack and play, weekend luggage and a diaper bag. Or approximately 7 dead hookers.

If that was manual, I can't imagine what it would cost. (09-24-2018, 08:19 PM)ViPER1313 Wrote: Buy this, pocket 10g for the repairs it will most certainly need

Eh the older Mazda 6 has that super anemic engine. Our CX-5 is almost unbearable for me to drive in terms of acceleration, those engines just have no torque. I'm sure the new boosted 4 bangers are quicker but they're also basically new cars. The hunt continues!
And Dave while I love your RS6, you cray bro!

Kinda makes me want to swap it. I’m sure I could find a cheap 6mt sedan with a bad motor etc. Or just combine with this -

I mean out the door that's like $7k over budget. It's a nice car don't get me wrong, but if I'm stretching an all cash budget I'm not going that high and I'm definitely not doing it for a Honda

Has anyone bought or know anyone who has bought a car through one of these new online car buying services such as Carvana or Vroom? I don't need MM's collective suggestions on what to buy here, just thoughts on these services. At least with Carvana you have a week to return said car. The cars I am looking at are mostly under factory warranty still so that makes me feel a bit more at ease. I don't like not being able to lay eyes on the car before buying though. They do seem to take extremely detailed photos however.

My experience/research on Carvana:
1. They are not cheap. Average CarMax prices. If you are going to pay carmax prices, why not just go buy from carmax?
2. Online reviews are terrible. Lots of problems with shipping and communication.
3. Brag about "no hidden fees" then charge you a delivery fee.
So far the pricing I am seeing is in line with examples from traditional dealerships. And that's before the dealership fees. I'm going to try and sort through some reviews and see what I can find. I'm not surprised people are having logistics issues. It seems like it will take some time to get this type of process right.
I did read carvana offers 100 day warranty and guarantees the car to have never been in an accident. Gonna have to read the fine print on that one for sure. The 7 day return policy is interesting. I wonder how that looks if you finance through a third party and return the car. That's gotta be a nightmare.
