I'd say keep at it and apply apply apply. All you have to do is get your foot in the door somewhere. Now granted, that maybe the hardest part, but it does happen. (Speaking on behalf of an individual that just quit 5+ years of real estate sales and landed a job as a Business Analyst at the Federal Reserve with ZERO experience in it).
Does anyone know of any Alumn currently working in law? I'm a Global Justice Studies and Arabic major looking to go to law school after undergrad and I'm currently searching for some internships.

Not sure about any grads, but Paul (Chips friend who's last name I'm forgetting) is in law school if you need advice. Yes, the goal is to be a part of a large firm straight out of law school to pay off whatever I have left of tuition and what not. Then I'd like to go out and try opening my own firm at some point and maybe become a judge.

You could try to find a summer internship clerking for a judge. No better way to become a judge than to have a judge vouch for you.

LinkdIn for the forum!
if you hit me up on facebook, linkedin, etc... just let me know you are from MM please. The amount of corporate espionage that can go on over linkedin is "great" for the company trying to get in on a contract.
Kaan "old man" Canturk... graduated in 2002 with a BS in Forensic Psychology. I did some metal fabrication after college and then stepped into the "government contracting" world. after 14ish years doing contracting I accepted a job with the government.
I currently am a program manager with the Federal Protective Service. I use my brain to do stuff... I learned all my skills on the job while working my way up. The only time I use my degree is to "read" someone I don't know in a meeting and/or to figure out the complexities in a meeting.

This is the hottest job market in decades. Free high quality skill development education is everywhere on the web. The only thing holding you back is you.
Does anyone here have experience working with Booz Allen Hamilton? I am going to their “Incubator Challenge” later tonight, which if won, provides a good chance of landing a summer internship, and then a future job. Just was hoping to get some insight on the company if you’ve worked with them, or as an employee if you’ve worked for them. Thanks!

I think a couple of MMers have worked for BAH.
Not me.
However, I think they are exemplified by this commercial:
They "solve" a problem they created by wasting resources and making a mess. El oh elllllllllllllll.

My brother/sister in law both work for them and I've interviewed with them twice.
What are you looking to do with your career? They have a very... unique culture.

My wife and I both worked there at different times.
She hated it, I hated it. But I think its fine for some people. We were both experienced and had little appetite for bullshit.
That being said, there are pockets of good work there. They have a good reputation for data science and analytics work that I would probably take a job doing that if they paid me.
If its your first job, with all the young people and coddling, its about the closest thing you can get to college 2.0.

Honestly I’m not sure, I’m marketing right now but after doing a marketing internship I realized it really isn’t the field for me. Now I’m looking at sales, consulting, and problem solving so I can take a more hands on approach, and not be stuck on the back end of things.

Not my first job, but my first suit/tie 9-5 job out of college. Why did you hate it? What type of bullshit did you have to put up with?
