Haha If the cops didn't literally sit at the entrance I would do it. Looking cold and rainy so I probably wont anyway.

A few shots from Katie's this past Saturday - really varied selection which was rather awesome:
Every time Japanese Classics lists a gangster Nissan Cedric I desperately want it
I had to stop and admire this mint, bone-stock NA Miata for a bit. I feel like these really have swept up and into true-classic status in the last couple of years and I dunno, seeing this one presented as it was just seemed "different"
Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
Maximum 90's nostalgia
Such a clean look, the 997.1 GT3. I don't think the current ones hold a candle to it design-wise.
Possibly the most random C&C find yet for me, a '64 Merc fire truck
More pillar-less, more better
E-Type mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm more like BonEr-Type
This, uh, thing
This is a 1955 Siata 300 BC Sport Spider
It is adorable.
1954 Allard parked up waiting for a chap to do a spot of rorty motoring
Pip pip cheerio good sir, off you go then
Super clean R32 GT-R
This looked better in person than in photos. McLaren appears capable of designing the prettiest and downright ugliest exterior features (sometimes in the same car) but hey, this was more than alright.
nice pixx0rs. next time I head up i should be able to stick around a little longer.

I don't understand the miata thing. Low mileage miatas keep popping up on BaT, are they supposed to be something special? I get that it is rare to find one in pristine shape with low miles, but are people really paying a premium for one of these?
Agreed x10000 on the 997 GT3RS. That generation is simply perfect looking from every angle. The new cars are great, but if I was able to select any car to have as my own it would be a 997 GT3 without a doubt. Simply gorgeous.

I think you answered your own question there - it is getting more difficult to find clean NA's (and NB's too, really), and there's of course a huge fan-base for them, so we're getting into supply vs. demand on pricing. Plus, the car was a huge deal when it debuted so it is "important" (to say nothing of its growth, accomplishments & importance since then), and we've got the whole 90's nostalgia/analog desire market forces to apply to them as well. So yeah, I totally get why they're popping up on BaT and do believe they're a bonafide classic now.
nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

in 20 years you'll have a hard-on for an old busted turbo GTI... while the rest of the world is driving spaceships or some shit.

Pretty sure there is no car I'd pay a premium for. Well, except maybe a B5 S4 that is guaranteed to never break.

I noticed this was the only car that had two pics posted. I can't imagine why...
edit: I was wrong. The shoe with a bike rack also has two.

(A) lulz. I was just waiting for your reaction to that one
(B) Evergreen it is, first M coupe I've seen in that color (I think I've seen a roadster, once). I want to say the owner is el jefe of the region's BMW CCA, and it had a PA tag on the back that just said "M".
(Ca) I did not propose on the spot unfortunately because (Cb) she whisked herself hurriedly away from a horde of oncoming dudes who were nearer to where she parked; I at least had the decency to notice her while being some tens of yards away using my telephoto lens...
