I don't think they have been replaced and I haven't done them. If they shit the bed I'll be torn between doing OEM or just bite the bullet and go Doug Thorley headers with full custom setup. Either way it's expensive.

Yeah, my driver side was replaced with what seems to be used OEM and now my passenger side has gone. $450 minimum. I would go after market but then I'd have to replace both to have them match. No thanks.

Can't you just have someone weld the crack?
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

In theory, yes, but that wouldn't be a good long term solution.

IIRC there was a company that was just starting to produce headers for the 4runner v8 when I sold mine, might wanna look into that.... or just live with it, which I had a buddy who owned one do lol.

See above. Doug Thorley. Custom short tube headers that are basically the same price as OEM. Granted you'll have to pay to have them welded up to something custom or just tie to your factory exhuast. The gains you get are pretty ridiculous. It's about the only thing you can do to this engine to get any power. They claim it gives a 30+ hp/30+ ft lbs of boost, and up to 2 more mpg.

Rockauto will ship you a new Dorman manifold/cat for $310. Seems reasonable.

Good gracious it's been a while since I've updated this thread. I have some solid updates and pictures to post soon. Mainly I installed my RCI offroad sliders and the 4Runner will be treated to a full 2" Spring and coil setup with adjustable Upper Control Arms.

Excited to get this fatty up in the air.

Amen to that. It was about a year stock and then this past year was lots of other mods with the taco suspension up under it until I figured out where the final setup came to be. I'm really excited to get this thing properly lifted.

Parts are starting to trickle in. I received my Dobinsons suspension last week from Main Line Overland. Still waiting for my new upper control arms to come off backorder and ship. Went ahead and ordered new top hats so that I can assemble the front struts this weekend. That will speed up the install. I've also been having some slight pulsing under braking. Everything up front is basically new so more than likely it's the rear so I also ordered new pads and rotors for the rear. The plan is to gather and install as many parts needed "while I'm in there" doing the suspension.

Got the front coils assembled 2 weekends ago. Pardon the tactical flip-flops and hedgehog shoe brush.

Install is going down this weekend.

I'll snag some parts pr0n this evening Cool . The Camburg UCA's are gorgeous. Not to mention the teal colored rear springs are kinda blingy.
