Graphics and Designs

Hey so I've been looking for some graphics MM has used in the past in order to create new t-shirts, posters, etc. and can't seem to find everything in the current gdrive. In specific, I am trying to find the .png for the checkered flag MM sticker, but I'm sure there are other things that have been created/used. I'm hoping we can compile a folder of all these graphics for the future officers to use, so if you have anything on your computer, dropbox, gdrive, etc. please share!

We've already talked about this. There are threads somewhere. I have every design except for the checkered flag design. I can't find it.

Brandon, look around 2013-2014. There was a thread where I made a cell phone wallpaper for MM. Perhaps it is there.

Have you tried a Google image search for MM?

I just looked through my Dropbox and don't have the checkered flag logo. Maybe Scotty has a copy?

i have almost all MM graphics back to around 2005 except for a couple years or occasions where students did their own designs. i passed everything off to Taylor years ago and he has done a good job of making it available to future officers if you look for it in the officer's forum.

Gerald was the godfather of the original logo. I did many of the shirt designs and marketing items like business cards, social media etc.

i have the original MM vector logo file and do graphic design as a full-time job so if you need a particular file or format just come directly to me and i'll build it out for you.

i did not design the sticker, but it would be easy to rebuild. i have a feeling either another member made that design, or one of the sticker vendors in town did it for us. if you can't find it, let me know and we'll make a fresh file.

Pretty sure vbd created the sticker for us, not sure if we ever got the file though.

We ordered new stickers last year, so we have the file somewhere. Ask Matt Wolford. I have a Google drive that I pass on to new officers are with everything, but it's oddly missing the main logo.

The "new" stickers are 1) gigantic and 2) not the right proportions of the original file.

Someone will have to confirm, but I believe we have 4 different stickers.

The original small ones.

The larger ones with the weird kerning that were made around 2013. With flag

Then 2-3 different ones we had made last year.

Here are two I just happen to have around. Clearly different.

Yeah, the ones on the bottom are the "correct" design from what I know.

If you do a single color (i.e. all white with no outline) they end up a little smaller.

Speaking of, I hope someone brings whatever stickers to VIR this weekend. I need an all-white MM for the truck.

I'm pretty sure Sam is the one who gave us the sticker that is out of proportion so do not use any files that he provided. If you don't know get a test sticker cut.

How did we even end up on the subject? Haha.

We made like 249372 stickers last year. Brandon needs this file for something different. There is no "other" logo file that was used. It's just how the different makers cut the stickers.

its pretty clear the font is completely different (compare the lower case A and T's) from the original which is why the kerning looks so strange. definitely throw those out and/or don't reference them for future sticker runs.
