Aight then back to FD's - if any of you want to build a track car, this is a screaming deal on the order of 150 decibels or so.  $9k in Colorado.

I'm putting my RX7 up for sale that I've used for the past few years to run NASA Time Trials. I'm selling this as a rolling chassis. This car includes everything needed to drop in a LS and T56. I'm including the complete Samberg swap kit (subframe, trans mount, motor mounts, diff brace, radiator, intake) and a driveshaft that fits a T56. I’m m also including headers and an exhaust, so you just need to drop in your favorite LS engine, transmission, and wiring harness and you're ready to have some fun. This car is an absolute beast! I ran 1:53's at HPR and 1:32's at Pueblo with 389 whp. It's light, sitting under 2600 lbs when I had my LS2 and T56 in it. My most recent setup was 464 whp and 105 lbs of ballast and a full 20 gallons to get up to 2790 lbs with me in the car.

This is a track car and has blemishes as you'd expect, so the exterior is far from perfect. The fenders and bumpers have a fair amount of chips from rocks, there is a dent on the driver side rocker panel, and the front and rear fenders were rolled causing some paint chipping. The windshield is cracked but did not impact vision.The interior is gutted, but it still keeps the side windows functional (I have an open trailer).

I've been out of time to continue to work on this project over the last couple years, and it seems to only be getting worse. I'd rather let this go to someone who will enjoy it, and I'll drive my street car to the track here and there.

Was BSing with a neighbor, seems he's looking to unload his e46 ZHP sedan.  The basics:

Imola red over black leather
6 speed manual
~40kish miles (can verify)
Modifications: higher ratio differential (unsure of number) and a cold air intake.

It's always looked decently clean, but his driveway is sorta long and I've never checked it out up close.  Hit me up if you're interested.

AFAIK, all e46's have it. Just cover your ears and sing to yourself.

He's an older gentleman and he asked where to take it to make sure it was mechanically good before selling it - I think he's well intentioned. Also just turned in a TDI Touareg for Dieselgate and is looking to move to an SQ7 if we get them. So he has upscale, if masochistic, taste.

I think he knows what he has and I'd expect a ZHP tax, but I'll shoot him an email. I do know he balked at a $3k offer from the local BMW dealer so it ain't gonna be a steal (in which case this post wouldn't exist).

Let me know if he gives you a ballpark. I don't know if I'm ready to publicly admit it yet, but one of these would make a better daily than the beast.

The 02 can winter with you in Richmond if you want to try and find the ground or whatever weird electrical gremlin knocked out my tach and fuel cluster;but man, ain't nobody round here got roundie money these days. We shoulda scooped up a few 5 years ago

Neighbor gave me a ring today, said he looked around a bit and saw that $10k seems to be the ballpark.  So, definitely a ZHP tax, but it's reasonable if it really has 40k miles.  Also, in addition to the intake and diff, he said it also has a "chip" (tune?).

Anyway, I can grab some photos if anyone is interested.  I do think it's sat outside most of the time, at least since I've lived here (4 years).

I don't think 10k for a well sorted low mileage zhp is ridiculous at all. If I hadn't pulled the trigger on the e30 and it was after the new year, I probably would have bought it. Tell them to hang onto it for a bit. I'll need a street car soon
