It is the right year of a car that you'd want, but it's slightly high mileage for that money - and the fact that the motor has been gone through is a negative, if you ask me. The original turbo cover is gone too =\ Have a feeling the paint is done...if it would "look killer with a buffing" and you're trying to sell it, wouldn't you buff it to make it look killer?

Agree, some might see that as a perfect starting point. Not everyone has 5 to 7+ grand to drop on a MR2T right away to get the car they want. That seems like a decent shell to start with; find a JDM motor, interior, etc and slowly build it up. I'm sure someone with a garage and some time and patience could turn that shell into something impressive.

I'm with Goodspeed on this one. I mean, it's not the century's best deal, but it looks fairly straight and clean, and would be a great candidate for a supercharged V6 or JDM Turbo swap.
