Is it on that 80s Bmw? You answered your own question
Nope it's on the 2014, so please be good to it
Edit: I got ahead of myself, not able to fab that muffler

Thank you! That actually goes towards all the metal for building the bracket for the race seat. They found a car and actually put it together; this might be fun.
Maybe we can buy some exhaust piping to fix the leaks so people don't die of affiliation!!!

I think you mean asphyxiation although death by affiliation sounds intriguing
We could keep piping cost down and just do a turndown/dump at the front doors like the LS1 E36!

Wouldn't be a bad idea, what's the story on inspection on this car?

The one it has is valid until October, I think? Beyond that, someone may need to know a guy...

Hopefully by October we won't need to register it.
Good til September. I might know a guy who knows a guy. I've met the guy, I'll just need the second party to accompany the inspection process. Just do as we please. As long the horn and all lights work we should be good

Hey DJ, meant to ask you - can I borrow your truck to drop a project car off at your house for you to work on? I don't have any money - do you accept bits of string and left over pizza as pavement?
I also need to... um... borrow... your specialty tools... preferably your most expensive and or desirable ones... for a project... yea; that's it. I'll get them back to you ASAP.

In all seriousness, I'm scared I might be in DJs little black book of favors not returned for the DSM parts he gave me and the 1 bolt and nut needed to install my CAI. In reparation, I offer to not post the BDSM pics ever again.

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaack u DJ!
ps. thanks for the engine stand, sucka!
pps. for all you guys that wanna learn how to weld TechShop in Arlington offers classes ($100). I've been meaning to register for one sometime: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.techshop.ws/take_classes.html?storeId=12&categoryId=24">http://www.techshop.ws/take_classes.htm ... egoryId=24</a><!-- m -->
We should all pick a date to sign up for a class
There is no exhaust leak, the pcv is busted (and costs $60) so we just unhooked it for now and sealed off the hole on the intake. The smell is it venting under the hood, not exhaust.
I would like to point out for future ghetto fix EGR things by blocking them off sessions, it would have been way easier to cut a soda can and use it as an EGR block off plate between the EGR tube and manifold instead of deleting the EGR tube entirely.

That's not nearly as exciting as our trial runs.

If I bring extra beer will that suffice? :dunno: I don't take up that much space.
