I mean my first Hyperdrive this happened with me and Maeng at the exit of Oak Tree I let off and tried to correct it and he yells "NO GAS GAS GAS" and we hit the rumble strips and slightly put two off and just kept on rolling like nothing happened.
Saw this guy who is a magician on the morning news since he is performing here in Charlotte. He got married about a month ago and some of the videos from their wedding have gone viral (he made himself levitate on their first dance). But he was talking about this video: they basically wanted to get out ahead of all of the people at their wedding that would ask them how they met. So they got hammered, filmed a Drunk History parody video and had actors portray them talking about how they met each other. It's actually really good hahaha

Fuck me...seriously? I thought the same thing, but she isn't really suing her nephew per se. She probably got her claim denied by the homeowners insurance and is looking for them to pick up the bill. Still a shame she is doing that to her own family.

"Although hurt, Connell told the jury, she didn’t complain at the time. “It was his birthday party and I didn’t want to upset him,” she said."
yeah don't make him cry at his party, just destroy his life with a 6 figure "F-you, I got an ouchie" guilt-bill that will follow him to his grave and ruin their relationship in the process.

The two that stood out to me..
Quote:Jennifer Connell has problems.“I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate,” she told a told a Connecticut jury.
:vomit:
Quote:“The injuries, losses and harms to the plaintiff were caused by the negligence and carelessness of the minor defendant in that a reasonable eight years old under those circumstances would know or should have known that a forceful greeting such as the one delivered by the defendant to the plaintiff could cause the harms and losses suffered by the plaintiff,” the lawsuit claims.

I understand kids misbehave, but WTF? An 8 year old should know how to act around a person they care about? Let alone think about or know the consequences as monumental as a fucking lawsuit for being "exuberant"? What 8 year old even knows that word?? This is the kind of shit that creates a zombie sheep society incapable of being human beings and acting so.

For the "quick to react" crowd - it was in fact an insurance workaround. Ridiculous it had to come to that.

I can't get that video to play, so maybe I'm missing something here, but I still don't see how your nephew hurting you becomes the responsibility of the homeowner's insurance, unless she broke it because the staircase fell through or something.
Also, I know medical bills are out of control but $127k? I had a pretty extensive surgery to fix a broken nose about 10 years ago and it cost our insurance company about $10k. :dunno: Whole situation still seems weird to me.

It's because insurance companies are dumb.
"I broke my arm at my sister's house, please pay for my medical bills."
Insurance company: "Oh, that might be negligence, we're not going to pay until a court says it's not."
Court: "Insurance companies can't be named in lawsuits, because lawsuits are supposed to be about ultimate responsibility not, ability to pay"
Aunt: "So I gotta sue my nephew, be told he's not negligent, then my insurance company will pay?"
Insurance Company and Court: "Yup."

think youre confusing her medical insurance with the dad's homeowners. I'd guess her medical insurance company most certainly will pay, and that was whatever the cost for the broken wrist was. The 127k was someone trying to get greedy and also nail the homeowners. Full disclosure I didn't read anything about any of this.
