I'm guessing this is a long shot. I'd probably have to head to Richmond as the closest place, but I was wondering if someone near Hburg makes custom downpipes? More specifically a downpipe for a 3071r with a t25 hotside(faces upwards). Doubt anyone in Hburg has the expertise to do it...

Try JL Fabrication on North Liberty, they did a lot of nice work on my car. Rebuilt some headers to fit a different application, then built some from scratch and the complete exhaust. Did some valve cover work and other brackets and stuff to get accessories to fit. They were doing a lot of other custom work during my visits, complete cages, exhausts, etc.
Basically, tell them what you want, and they will make it happen.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

Awesome! Thank you. Their prices look great too. Right about where they should be.
you are going to need a bigger exhaust from that down pipe all the way back.

Bill's Mufflers on 42 in Park View might be another good place to cross shop

Sure if I want to go full boost on a built engine to get the most power. For a 5-7psi it won't matter.

They don't do stuff like this. They do mostly cut and welds jobs.
EDIT: looks like JL does no custom exhausts anymore... they recommend me going to bill's muffler. lol. I guess I'll give them a call anyways. Bill's muffler does custom exhaust work, but they don't have a machine to drill 02 bungs or mandrel bent...
Called Hussey's a custom exhaust place in Bridgewater doesn't have a mandrel bender as well. Welp. Oh well.
WTF is up with exhaust shops around here not ACTUALLY doing exhausts?
mandrel benders are $$$
that and the price of metal going up... i'm sure they are just trying to offer a competitive cost to customers.... MOST people are okay with a crush bend system... just not "us."

Yup, top mount turbo probs. I bet a bottom mount someone could do or I could find one online
Have you called the guys at BRMM? Maybe they have some suggestions.

Or even the guys at Coy Miller Race Engines? They might do some good custom work.

Both don't do exhaust work. Both said to talk to Bill's Muffler.
NO NO NO on Coy Miller! Worst experience ever! Maybe he has his shit together now but I should have pulled my engine build from him. Crappy work and monumental delays.

The guy behind JL Fab (Rob) left them years ago so they're kinda trading on their old name now. Def steer clear of them. No reputable aftermarket company makes a dp for your application?

Not for a top mount. Not many people top mount turbo these cars. Only thing available would be bottom mount which is easily accessible. Only top mount in the kit I was looking at from my tuner. He was giving a good deal... probably why and he has had it awhile.

Yeah, prob a reason why a "good deal" has been available for awhile for a car that's not that rare/has an aftermarket following.
