Well im not talking about Justin's. Unfortunately, the FXT just doesn't do it for me like the OXT. Im just trying to plan and budget for the worst and make it as bulletproof as possible to see if i really want to go this route or if I'd rather look elsewhere. At this point, i wouldnt know where because i do have a thing for the OXT with moar power.

04 xt is pretty much an 04 sti motor with wrx pistons, td04 and shitty tmic. both have the same AVCS system
Also, as a note, since the OBXT shares parts with the Legacy, used aftermarket parts are not as adundant compared to WRX/STi/FXT
On another note. Fuck this car, peace, im out.
BTW, MM PRICE - $5500
You find me a buyer, ill give you $100
MM Price is now $5k, ERRYBODY ELSE - $5500
sell it to that dude Chan works with. I hear he'll buy anything.
Would Carmax cut you a check for it? Or is it all Christmas treed up right now

I would love to try CarMax, but I know it will bite me in the ass, and just start billowing smoke when the guys takes it out the parking lot. Plus I need the time to put it all back together again, and I honestly don't think its worth it.
$5k for a car, if it was running would fetch $9-10k. You can have it back up and running for $2500-3k if you do it yourself.
FWIW im pretty sure carmax takes it around the parking lot, and throws it in reverse for a sec to get their test in. I had the malibu looked at there one time and it didn't leave the lot for sure.

I had to ride in Justin's Prius to get golf carts on Saturday morning. Where do I go to be checked out for anything transmittable? I really don't want to catch Sudden Toyota Ownership Syndrome.

Your car will call the Pentagon with a request to go to DEFCON 2, exhibit symptoms of the automotive equivalent of dementia, and light up like the Rockefeller christmas tree.

isn't the prius just a big, air conditioned golf cart to start with? :dunno: i'm so confuuuseeddd
you'll want to head over to your nearest onramp and consult with 2nd or 3rd gear in your current car. monitor yourself for signs of missed apexes, lack of mobility in your clutch leg, and aural discomfort with "how loud these tires are".
if you find yourself concerned over what these activities may do to your gas mileage, the window for early treatment has passed and you'll need to seek a regimen of 3 sets of rev limiter touches daily until symptoms subside and/or you notice your testicles dropping back out of your body.

If you hear about a big blue SUV toppled over on the news tonight, well, you know what I drove to work in.
