The updates from Bryce are coming in and they have some really nice new stuff. Check'em out on the FB. Opening day is this weekend and they will continue building new stuff over the next few weeks. Little video:

Let's pick a date - I'm Sat only until after the first week of June, then Sat or Sun works. Wouldn't mind a random weekday in the middle of June either.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
^3 if you count that dumbass clown bike you were riding at VIR.

One optional item you might be missing is small tool.
This one is good:

I think the bottle cage thing is preference. I hate riding with stuff on my back so I use good cages that don't eject my stuff for rides under 3 hours.

I looked at used in the area but nothing really popped up and I don't know how well the bike was cared for so that is why I went new. I ordered it off Nashbar, and got an additional 25% off their price so it was a good deal IMO.
I have a Camelbak, but I dunno how I will like riding with it on my back, so I went with the bottle cages.
I do have a tool similar to this one from performance just an older version, http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Pr ... 53__400153 . I may snag this one as well to avoid having to transfer from bike to bike cause im lazy and forgetful.
As far as gloves, should I look for something padded or just some slip on Mechanix gloves will do?
Depends on your preference. I ride with a pair of voodoo tactical gloves. Pretty much mechanics gloves. However, they have some padding and padding is a nice thing to have.
for anyone interested, my downhill bike is for sale. GT Fury Carbon.
