Just looked it up (4C), much better! Perhaps they have ideas on what to do with the corvette rear.
Mostly agree about the verts but I think the C5 looks better as a convertible, probably because it resembles the FRC/ZO6.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
Launch edition will come out in June I think he said. That version has more carbon fiber trim (spoiler, side mirrors etc.), stiffer suspension, some extra vents, upgraded exhaust, maybe some other bits, for approx $70k. They're only bringing 500 of them.
The regular version will go on sale in the fall for around $55k

lol @ legal disclaimer after factory-installing line lock. Mixed messages much?

This years NYIAS was pretty good, nothing too exciting. I was able to head on back up to my hometown and crash at my good buddies place.
Got to meet Christian Koenigsegg (owner and chief engineer) of the hypercar maker. Surprisingly, no one recognized him or seemed to care about who was sitting behind the car chatting it up with some Manhattan MC folk.
I also fell in love with this, if it was available I'd be running to the dealership.

I didn't understand why the SS had a autobox only. But yeah, man, woof. Someone let me know what the price is.

I'd assume something like 35-40k for midrange trim?
G8 GXP was like $40k when it came out. My guess would be $45k for a no options SS.
base model SS is 45k (lol)
6 speed and fancypants suspension will probably be some option package that puts it over or around 50k
nopenope nothankyou nope
It really is a shame that they can build a camaro and mustang v8 for just about $30k, but no 4-door v8 ever gets that pricing level. Another reason I had to build my own.
