Did you get an 02 bung yet? I think I have one laying around here somewhere I could just give you if you need it. I also have a 3in Cat if you might need something like that.

Ordered most of the last few things I needed/wanted to get this thing buttoned up.

Hardrace front endlinks
Oil Temp Gauge
Extended wheels studs
5mm Spacers for the rear

I still need the mounting brackets for the front sway bar, try and find those at the junkyard.
Picked up a GSR front sway for FREE.99 from Andrew, a HC guy, really nice of him BTW.

Decided to extend the existing cat and weld the o2 bung to that so im sticking with the DC header.

List of things to do....

Drain oil
Install oil sandwich plate
Install oil pressure and oil temp probes into sandwich plate
Replace oil pan gasket
Have a bung welded to cat and extended
Install DC Header
Install front LCAs
Install Front Sway bar
Install spacers and extended wheel studs

This really has gotten completely out of hand.

The mounting brackets for the swaybar - you mean the things that go around the bushings and then mount to the body of the car? I can check my toolbox and see if I have some extra. I think they are for the front if I remember correctly.

Ok so got a little work done tonight.

List of things to do:
Drain oil
Install oil sandwich plate
Install oil pressure and oil temp probes into sandwich plate
Replace oil pan gasket
Have a bung welded to cat and extended
Install DC Header
Install front LCAs
Install Front Sway bar
Install spacers and extended wheel studs

I didn't really take alot of pictures tonight because I left the cell phone in the house for half of the time I was out there.

So went to Advance and got some 10w30 Pennzoil Full Synthetic, and a Pure One filter it was on sale for $27.99 as an oil change deal. Also rented the front suspension repair kit, which includes all kinds of pullers, for tie rods, ball joints, etc etc.

Got the oil all drained out and pulled the pan to replace the gasket. Washed it out real good, there was some small remnants of red RTV in the pan from somewhere, and that is about it, the outside was freaking filthy from oil and road grime.

Got the oil filter sandwich plate installed along with the OP and OT probes.

Can see the Oil pressure probe.

Cranked her up and hooray, no oil spewing everywhere Smile OP is at 90psi at 1500 RPM when cold, seems 70-80 is normal at idle for cold startup. Shes idling high, I am assuming because the o2 is currently unplugged.

So now that the oil pan is done, its time to throw on the header, since ive decided to keep it and just extend the cat.

It came up this short, THATS WHAT SHE SAID, so gotta extend the cat, or order up a cheapo test pipe.

On to the front LCAs, I WISH I HAD JUST GOTTEN THIS TOOL THE FIRST TIME.

It popped right off, without an issue at all, albeit a loud pop, so driver side is on, just needs everything torqued up.

noticed on the passenger side there is some vertical play on the pall joint, so F@#K, I guess im picking up a new lower ball joint. Apparently I completely boned it with the pickle fork.

Rip in boot.

Blurry, but a the rip is pretty big.

So gotta grab one from NAPA then I guess rent the tool kit to do this job from Advance.

Difference between Front LCAs, as you can see the new one has a hole there for the front sway bar to attach via the endlink. It is from a Civic SI/EX Sedan and Integra
[Image: 2011-09-01_21-58-15_596.jpg]

Drain oil- DONE
Install oil sandwich plate - DONE
Install oil pressure and oil temp probes into sandwich plate - DONE
Replace oil pan gasket - DONE
Install DC Header -DONE

So whats left....
Install front LCAs - HALFWAY DONE
Have a bung welded to cat and extended or order test pipe
Install Front Sway bar - Thanks to Navin, he is mailing me the sway bar brackets I need.
Install spacers and extended wheel studs - Need to rent the hub puller from advance.

Have to get this stuff done before the 24th/25th, and get this thing on the street to shake it down for any problems.

that does seem like some hella high cold start pressure, but hey if you're 10 high off of normal i'd say that's a good thing for an engine that's seen as much abuse as that has.

been incredibly lazy, gonna finish it up tonight.

Thoughts,

Guy is willing to trade me his GSR blades + $250, for my Rotas. Keep in mind the rotas/GSRs will only be for driving to and from the track.

Should I do it?

Pic of blades on white hatch.

how are the tires? if they are just to drive to and from... why not get $250 to go toward your first event?

Take the blades. I like the look and as Kaan said, if tires are good, why not take a free $250.
