Sold at $6,300. This was my mom's "favorite car" that she's ever owned... although who knows if twenty years later, she'd have the same sentiment. This one is the exact color combo and year that hers was.

The entire car was repainted in the correct Ford Crystal White clear coat. The repaint was done immediately after I purchased the car in 2008. The second owner had taken Cobra R #4 and had airbrushed cartoon images from the Batman comic strip on the car.

Still, soft spot for those cars. My second RC car (~2001) was a Tamiya '95 Cobra R

Yeah, with the history that this car has and the fact that it's not a museum piece makes it IMO the perfect R. I'd be able to track it, drag race and generally beat the piss out of it and not feel sorry about doing so. All of the R cars are cool ('93, '95, '00), but there is something special to me about the '95 models.
