Hey thanks guys! See the logo in the grille? That was from the 2010 SRT-8 we had in that was almost totalled. Originally it said "Dodge" in there.

You should put the updated "challenger" badge on the rear too, to match the grill

Funny about that badge. The one you see in the picture is stick on. Ordered from Mopar...its the same one they use on the modern Classic Edition Challenger. Anyway, it does not stick well to that gray stipped finish. The original was not stick on, it had pegs on the back. The stick on one keeps falling off. I have cut out the sticky tape for it 3 times now and I am done. So I just ordered from Year One a proper logo with pegs on the back... 45 fuckin dollars.

Ok, so progress has been made! The car is basically done. Just needs some final details and tuning the engine. Ordered a set of Hellwig Motorsports sway bars for the thing today. I am going to work on suspension and brakes over the next few months and try to get things modernized a bit.

These are the most recent pics!

Seats came back (both are in now, only 1 when I took the pic)

Interior panels fitted...direct replacement my ass...

Rear panel was taken back out and the cardboard panel was covered in carpet. Including a custom bit that continues out over the quarter panel moldings to give it a finished look.

Rear seat and belts in and done.

Anne got me this shift indicator bezel and lens for my birthday back in April. I just got it together and in along with the new (also, direct fit my ass) t-handle shifter. Here also is a pic of the original, note the pitting.

I will post some more pics later once I get the thing all polished up. There are only a few little things left to do and I will call it "done."

Thanks for the kind words. I will take some good pics tomorrow. Maybe one of you MMer's that is good with a camera can help me get some good shots sometime? I'm thinking something with an industrial background to it.

Slap Stik is like a B&M ratchet shifter. Basically when you pull it all the way to "1" you slap the stick forward to 2 and it will stop there, then you slap it again to go to drive, so you can pick your gear when drag racing and keep it in gear longer.

Newest pics. Still have some final touching to do. Order Just Suspensions' "Pro Touring" 1in torsion bars for it this morning. 1in was the size Mopar used to call "Road Race/High Performance" so with a small block engine it should be stiffer than a wedding dick. Waiting for the detail guy to offer to give it the (free) once over and one of our photo magicians to come take me some proper pics!

God I love this car. Next time I'm down that way I will have an MM sticker for you... provided you want one somewhere on it. White could look good.
