The 400F is back together and running well so this one is back on track....
Got everything out and organized, which allowed me to consolidate the parts a bit - everything is boxed back up by sub-assembly (controls, electrical, fuel, etc).
Motor on the bench
Motor apart
Next up, vapor blasting all the cases, covers, jugs, etc. Hope to have that done soon but while the motor is out I can work on assembling the rolling chassis.
I'm also really glad I built more work surface than I thought I needed. Its working out well.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Seems like you're enjoying the new house and garage space! Let me know if you need a hand!

Yup. Custom billet triple tree. China billet handlebar clamps from ebay.
I've got a new steering stem nut coming that will match, too. There's something funky going on with threading the spanner nut that goes under the triple that holds preload on the head bearings, so I've got a new one on order... the powdercoat shop also did not mask off the inside of the swingarm bushing mounts, either. So far the reassembly is *not* going smoothly but the motor is still sitting in the bin on the floor, so I got time here.

I only have so much time at home... now to make space and clean up that area of the garage.

After a short delay when I decided that my old shitty hardware was, well, shitty, we have this, along with a nice box of stainless socket cap screws from McMaster for everything else. Will probably wait until I have a motor and then start there on assembly. Arrow Plating in TX did the work, good price and quick turnaround.

I forgot to update but things still sort of happening in fits and spurts
+2mm forged pistons
not bad for rattlecan
Cylinder head out getting refreshed (valves, guides, seats, porting) and cam is off at megacycle getting re-ground so once those come back I can finish motor assembly, put it in the frame and finish hooking everything else up.

Got the head back - looks like it'll flow nicely. Waiting on a head gasket for my bigger bores and adjustable cam sprocket to make my life a little easier dialing in the cam, should have ordered those at the same time.
