I never went to BBQ ranch, but the smokin pig was always good - and cheap. Me and my roommates would get the 4 man meal or something..and an order of fried pickles

Ehh I don't like the bbq ranch. Been there twice and never really saw the wow. Small sandwiches with mediocre flavor.

I think I just might have had a bad experience at smoking pig- gotta try that taco truck near me tho you were talking about!

BBQ Ranch for me = MEH.... it's BBQ which I love but I couldn't find it to be anything special.. then again I'm comparing it to Pierce's back in Williamsburg..
Smoking pig is pretty nom nom but it' still MEH.. I don't really associate the valley with BBQ.. But TACO TRUCK!?!?!? Hellz yea!

And the sauce basically tasted like cinnamon water to me. I much prefer Big Daddy's in Stephen's City for BBQ. I still haven't tried Buz and Ned's in Richmond, but it is supposed to be pretty good too.

Mac's Speed Shop is the BBQ winner. Ask Mike. The only place I've found comparable within a 3 state distance is a guy that my dad used to get ribs from somewhere off of 50 near Gilbert's Corner.
