I'm leaning towards paying for it, I already know from our experience trying to pull donor parts off a junkyard car that getting the knuckles off of the thing is going to kick our asses. It's going to go up on jackstands soon just so I can start hosing everything down with PB blaster and let it soak in for a few days.

You can use the press whenever (12 ton) but I ain't helping. Fuck rusty old shit on a press. I swear I've feared more for my life than ever before when cranking down on that thing and seeing the full might of steel popping and pinging a foot from my face.

I have a rallycross question and Im not starting a new thread
How would a stock FR-S fare at the RallyFarm with regards to ride height and involuntary bumper / fender liner removal?. I see miatas in the results so I assume it cant be that bad, but watching some videos seems to be some significant ruts by the end of the day.

The rally farm isn't really bad. There's always a chance to really wreck your shit if you mess up and hit a Berm, but if you're in control I'm sure an FRS could make it all day without cracking the bumper or ripping the lip. You'll just have to be careful. Check the Taurus thread for the video I posted. I think we may have bottomed out a few times. That's the biggest concern you should have. You can say goodbye to your cross members.

I'd be concerned about your control arms. There was a spot in the last rallyx where towards the end of the first session it started digging deep and you crashed straight into it. It was a rut that just kept getting deeper and deeper, it was like slamming into a curb, it was aggressive. Other than that it was mild.

Someone make an offer on this thing.
It leaks less oil than it used to.
There are new OEM hubs sitting in the back seat.
It has a bitchin' ignition switch setup.
You know you want it.
