Good call. BTW I'll ask since the subi knowledge is abundant here.. What's the difference between STI and STI "pink" springs?

JDM YO! I may be wrong, but im pretty sure they are higher rate JDM springs. But apparently the SPT springs sold are Pink as well???
#65
"JDM" pinks are meant to be used with STi stock struts -- 250 lbs/in front and 220 lbs/in rear, IIRC (stock STi is 220/190ish)

SPT pinks are dealer sports springs (designed as upgrade for WRX) and not much different than stock STi springs.

Threw on the STI exhaust today.

STI Left, XT Right.

STI Muffler (Approx 2in shorter) TOP, XT Bottom
[Image: 20130329_100345.jpg]

Larger resonator on the XT exhaust.

Had to change out to larger hangers on the Muffler.

Just the tip....

Gave the car a little more rumble. I may have the exhaust tip extended out an inch or so, some people say it can cause the bumper to melt if you don't....not quite sure how, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Solid.

Why don't you just get an exhaust shield?

To stick on the bottom of the bumper? I think he's talking about the tip not the can.

Does it look a little off center or is it just me? I fixed my bent tips by sticking a jack handle in them and very carefully rearranging them, might come in handy if you don't have someone extend it.

looks good! i'd think that was stock if i didn't know better.

just a note - i found after messing with my exhaust that kartboy hangers are the real deal - if you ever hear any banging from pipes contacting anything from swinging around, they'll solve the problem without any real NVH tradeoff.

Yea, unfortunately they don't make a hanger long enough for the muffler, any of the other hangers should work though.

No no. An exhaust shield protects the bumper from bigger exhaust tips. Like this. http://www.subtle-solutions.com/product ... ucts_id=92

I thought about something like this but then the price tag kinda scared me off. I can have an exhaust shop extend it out for way cheaper than that. Hell I may do it when I goto my parents this weekend.

Took the opportunity to clean her up today as well. Went to advance, buy 3 car cleaning products, you get a FREE FUCKING BUCKET!!!!

No Premier Shine Level work, but it'll do for now.

She needs some TLC, but just a quick wash to get the salt/dirt off.

Minus the swirls, nothing does this color justice until you get it clean and in the sun. So much FLAKE.

Also removed the SNORKUS (Intake Silencer) so it makes more Wooshy Turbo noises. Should be snagging my COBB intake next week so it had to come out anyway.

I'd paint em gold.....

But thoughts? Team dynamics are pretty nice and I think I like that wheel. Can't find pics of em on a forester though.
