lol. Yeah either Rear trailing arm bushings or subframe to diff/subframe bushings. You could have also broke a diff bolt. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOooo you could have ripped your rear shock towers (they make reinforcers for it).
I will be down in Harrisonburg, VA tonight and through the weekend if you want me to check it out.

What do you all think of this kit? OEM radiator, but I'm not too interested in getting too far away from original spec. If the radiator has lasted 108k so far, no reason to believe a brand new one won't do just as well.
I'll wait on the fan for right now, and I'll replace belts and everything while I'm in there.

Looks good -- I don't know if I'd go OEM or aluminum for the radiator. I went aluminum on the Miata, in part because I found one for cheap. It's nice to know it will not blow apart on me. Granted, if the OEM plastic one lasted 100k, you could assume a new OEM plastic will last 80-100k. And you aren't going to be heavy-duty tracking this car, so the cooling system likely won't see too much stress beyond typical use.
That's my wishy-washy "I'd do it" answer. Kind of like when you bought the car. I hate making decisions, haha.

OEM radiator sounds fine to me, but I did mine for peace of mind, knowing it wont ever explode. HOWEVER, REPLACE YOUR FAN. Id hate to see that you wanted to save 50 bucks and then end of destroying your brand new radiator and possibly fucking up your hood (common). Im not saying go electric, hell just do the diesel one. Just ask around the racing paddock or on bimmerforums or whatever BMW source, the fan needs to be replaced.

Fan it is then. I'll order the kit tonight! I might need to pick up some more coolant (I have two jugs of it right now), and I need to get the proper tools. While i'm in there, I'll replace heater hoses too, which I'll get from pelican with clamps and everything. I don't think the kit comes with radiator mounts, so I'll need to get some of those, nor a hose to the expansion tank, which I also need to order from pelican.

Looks good man! This is real nitpicky, but you might want to try Mothers or Meguiars Chrome Polish on your exhaust / pipes even though they might not necessarily be chrome. The Mothers stuff is awesome, it basically cuts right through rust on metal. It's worth a shot anyhow

Update: Nothing new over the break. Check engine light goes on and off, got the code checked and its throwing the code for the thermostat. Soooooo as soon as I get paid, i'm officially ordering all of the parts.
Also, suspension needs an update, looking for decent summer tires, another set of stock m3 wheels (10 or 5 spoke) and need to replace a brake light and fog light.
Need to do an oil change. Flush transmission fluid. Find some way to get the fuggin' floor mat to stay put.

At least it's asking nicely for the coolant system to be updated. Miata did the same thing, a slow leak on the radiator top. Address it now before it becomes a bigger issue and everyone will be happy.

Got some new rims off of DJ with a decent set of summers on them.
Things to do: Re-tint rear window
and replace rear shock mounts. Not sure whether to stick with stock or spend a little more money yet.

Just not feeling the Bimmerluv, hmm?
If it were Technoviolet, I'd be shuffling cars and money around to buy it off you. It's really pretty clean and I doubt you'll have any problem selling it. What are you thinking as more your style?

oem g, I didn't even see this. That was kind of a feeler thread I shot out. I got some interest for the price I posted, which I was kind of surprised at. I know stock m3's are going for bank on bimmerforums, but I had no idea some Va' b*tches would be interested.
I might be interested in fully selling or trading after I build up some capital to put into something else at the end of the summer. Who knows?
I r be <3 GSX's. Maybe we can work something out at ze end of the summer.
