It looks pretty straightforward. 0% APR for 84 months. Only applies to 2019 models and cannot combine with cash incentives.
I haven't seen the $0 down portion.

So basically it would be cheaper to buy it $14k off with cash incentives at 1.99% from PenFed.
That said I am still on FB Marketplace wasting too much time a day looking at cars!

I got scurred off from their oil consumption issues. I think they are gorgeous and bad ass though. Have you seen any steals yet? I havent seen the used car market respond yet.

yeah, all VW is doing that for all 2019/2020 models. I'm not sure how they're doing that with values since i heard it was just for MSRP prices, which would not be a good deal if you're concerned about total amount paid; only if you care about monthly payment amount.

Couple of new GT350's for 10k off, but I don't know if that is including rebates that prevent you from getting the 0%. Seeing some GT350R's at small discounts, even locally. But that could be bait and switch.
Used market doesn't seem to have really responded yet for most desirable cars. Starting to see GT4 and 991.1 GT3 prices creep downward on the lower end. 570S prices were starting to drop anyway now that 2016's are coming off warranty.
There are some dealers offering $0 down lease deals on 600LT's, GT's, and the odd 720S, and the aforemention Aston Martin deal. Haven't seen anything from any of the other exotic manufacturers, or even the mainstream luxury companies yet.

Yeah DJ you're right, no 0% on Shelbys, for now. Maybe in a few months I can be all like, "You couldn't live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."
Sometimes I fantasize about greedy dealerships crawling back to me to try to sell me on cars they marked up too much and couldn't sell.

That is definitely a fantasy

Ill probably shop for some deals just like I did in the last bubblepop. This one has a very different feel to it though, I think people are expecting a big rebound in a few months so are going to hang on to things longer. 3 months or so from now may be the ideal time, assuming there isnt a big rebound.
Alfa 4C and Gallardo would be what I would look at first as far as deals go. Maaaaybe an R8 but theyve never done much for me so probably not.
Huracan or a NSX on the high end, but things would really have to crash hard for those prices to be right.
As much as I love the cars, no way in hell Im ever actually owning a Mclaren.
The problem this time around is that Ill have to sell the sports car I have, and at a price I would probably hate, which may be tough to do.
Other than that, I may look to pick up a Colorado as a DD if I can find a great deal.
I've done a little bit of research and made contact with a few dealers. Here's what I've found.
R8 has about $8k of dealer cash on the hood right now. Lease deals aren't particularly attractive right now. Money factor is good but residuals are just, ok.
Aston Martin has a $0 down, subsidized lease that is pretty aggressive on the Vantage. But Vantage manuals aren't really in inventory.
McLaren has some big discounts on new 2019's to the tune of at least $30k. Ally Financial lease deals are not bad, but no blockbusters from the dealers I talked to. One person on Mac forums found a smoking lease deal on a 720S but I dunno if that was legit. If I could get those terms I would definitely try to make that deal work.
Haven't really seen a big drop in used prices, but there's been some softening here and there. GT4's are coming down but I think that's because the 718 GT4 is almost here, and 981 GT4's are starting to run out of warranty.
2016 570S prices have dropped a good bit, but again, warranty. I bet dealers will be willing to deal on them, but then do you want that deal? You can buy extended warranty but that kinda negates the price savings.

Definitely shopping around... Fiancee and I are thinking of a 2020 Mazda CX-5 GTR. First new car purchase, not in a rush. We live in Manhattan but are shopping and currently with family in CT (might end up moving there anyways crazy times).
Thinking deals will peak in May/ June if things can start picking up but it seems that production was cut at plants. Supposedly there's lots of 2020 inventory sitting at ports, so when that releases maybe the deals will improve as fewer people are buying. Mazda is doing the same 0% 63 months or something like that.
Curious what you all consider to be a good deal (in terms of discount off MSRP) in normal times? Forget about the garbage fees etc.. for now. I'm also seeing that Mazdas don't mark up their prices as much as Toyota/ Honda so there's not as much room. We're not getting as many bites on low ball offers as we thought we would but are getting some movement. MSRP is 36,600 (ish) and figured 32-34 out the door would be compelling, or am I expecting waaay too much?

From what I am hearing through the grapevine, dealers are holding pretty hard on pricing. I guess low interest rates + stimulus + factory delays means dealers would prefer to hold inventory at higher prices to get more per car since volume is low. We will see who breaks first. I haven't found any true deals yet.
