I don't need to say it, but I'll say it, but I wouldn't have bought it if the plan wasn't to make money on it. Calm down. I bought the Track car with the money from the last E30. This will pay for something else.

Don't forget it has to be close to work, but close to the beach. Also 4 bedrooms with no kids and it needs to have a space for "entertaining".

Spent some time on this today after loading up the track car. The sports seats were locked in place. Couldn't recline, slide, or move up and down so I took off the covers, cleaned and lubed them up and now they're work fine. Being able to move the seat down from the highest height setting is very nice and improves drivability 100%. Only one speaker worked and it was falling apart, so I used a speaker from the E36 in order to have some music. Also gave the interior a cleaning, replacing some trim panels, and treated all of the leather. The seats responded very well to the treatment and are a lot more supple.
Took it for a short cruise and found that the heat/AC, LSD, all the exterior lights except reverse, and even the heated seats work. The engine pulls well, is extremely quiet, the clutch bites very well, and everything just.... Works.
Very pleased so far. Plans for the near future are lube up the windows, pull the cluster to solder a jumper to get the dash lights working, replace the odometer gears, check the guibo (I have a stash of spares), rewire the reverse lights, and do the timing belt and I think she's ready to enjoy for the warm months and sell before it gets cold.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
That looks pretty good! Show me this interior.

(for all the shit I have dished out, I do want to drive it once it's a little warmer) Really want to get some pics of the interior but there hasn't been any daylight. Need to get my sewing kit out so I can sew up the seams that are opening.
