I don't see how there aren't a million options out there to remedy this. I'm sure coilovers on Mazda 3's are common.

The ABS sensor is part of your braking system. Its very important as well.
Can you just modify that collar to either fit around the shock body or mount it to the bottom of the strut using that one bolt in the pic?

What I could try is maybe get a longer bolt in the same size. And that could work? Hmm. I understand I don't want to see my tragic end either. I'm just not too worried about plastic zip ties on a metal brake piece. But, I'll give it a serious look when I get more time after exam week
Young or not you'd be stupid to not secure your brake lines. Plus I'm pretty sure you won't pass tech with them ziptied. After some people's brakes failed this past weekend are you willing to bet that they'll be fine going 125 on the front straight?

Idk why you still think the problem is the plastic zip tie. Like 5 people have said that the issue is the contact with the shock body. Even cutting that bracket and jb welding it to the shock body sounds like it'll be better than the current setup.

I'd be happy to describe every wreck I've responded to at Summit and VIR that came from a lack of brakes. Those people have been fine because of full safety gear and running off into tire walls. We all just don't want to see you have something happen and lose brakes mid-turn on 33W where your runoff is the tree you hit 20 feet down the dropoff.

Brake line brackets on the way. Power window motor on the way as my driver's side one decided to not work. Taking the door panel off was "exciting"...... lol. Also, turn on headlights his morning and drivers side is dead. Awesome. So looks like time to go to AutoZone or Advance. Going to have some very last minute preparations for Hyperfest. Going to check my oil level as I know I'm sure I burned a crap ton during the tuning process.

Nice! It's so helpful to see where your hands are positioned during whatever turn. I've learned a lot from my GoPro videos that are shot inside the car. The outside stuff is more for "hey look, I did a thing" and not much else.
