First Revised Tune Review from Ov Tune. Initially when I was backing out I noticed the throttle difference. Way more linear and I like it. When I first drove off, I don't have to touch the throttle as hard. It is great, wayyy better. Dude.... There is way more low end... I only got it to 4000 in 2nd but dang. I was 1/2 throttle in 2nd from 1500-4000 and I was at 35 before I expected it. Significant difference. I can't wait to see the upper end tonight. I'll post more as I drive more. So far very good job. He answers so quick even if it is a stupid question. I was not expecting it to change as much as it did. I'm so excited to get it finished and get it on the dyno. I'm hoping for above base hp/tq numbers in wheel. Honestly I'm shooting for 150whp/140tq but we will see.
So what does this tune do?
Just change up the fuel and ignition tables? I assume your car has an electronic TB and they tweaked it, hence your better throttle response. The Access Port stage 1 tune on the fozzy is worth it for the better throttle response alone, I hate electronic throttle bodies.
I would pull your plugs after a few weeks of running this tune to make sure you aren't going too rich/lean and damage anything.
I am curious to see your results, since I may be picking up a CX-5 within the next 6 months.
No, he changes several different things, it is full custom tune from me data logging and him making adjustments over time. Here is the Facebook for him: https://www.facebook.com/ovtune.11?fref=ufi
Tell him Ryan Herold sent you. Yeah I'm probably running a bit richer. But, I can data log and see. I'm sure it won't be too bad.
My assumptions would be timing, fuel, throttle, load, etc...
TRZ RMM purchased. Ah yeah, no more hop from the stickier rubber

Only thing that would make this hotter was if it was a hatch..

Don't think we're gonna make it. Saturday is really the only day I get to see Lauren. She's only home from tonight through Sunday morning, then going home for Easter and back down to bridgewater for one last week working down there.
I somehow convinced her to get up early and go to C&C with me, I don't want to push my luck.

Sam might be going with me if he wakes up in time just to let you know.
Whatever works for you and is easiest. I'm not picky at all I drink/eat whatever. Burgers were good last time but if you had something else in mind go for it. Beer wise I guess some blue moon, shocktop or something simple like that works fine. I'll drink cheap too. Miller lite/Bud lite are cool too.
Hopefully my welds aren't garbage.
It will probably be chicken and stuff... I got a variety pack of sweet water and some whiskey for you to sample (aka relax before you weld)

Sounds good. Should be a fun time to just relax and work for the day
Here is a Vdyno for the header, intake, and 2nd revision file on the tune from the tuning software:
Pretty solid if you ask me. Considering the car comes with 148hp/135tq base not wheel. Still more revision to the tune to come
Also, finally got 2nd cat delete done Saturday. Was a fun time to wrench. Thing has a lot more rasp now but I like how it sounds. I didn't at first on the inside but flyby outsides sounds pretty sick.

Cutting:
After:
we also mounted the cat heat shield back on to hide the delete

Just goes to show how horribly tuned most cars are from the factory. Especially the ones marketed as economy cars.
