  CHEAP newbie bikes
Posted by: Martin - 03-31-2004, 12:01 PM - Forum: Motorcycles - Replies (60)

hey all,
starting this thread for anyone that's interested in cheap starter bikes. My roomate and I are local mechanics and we get some killer deals.

We're attending a DC Police auction this tuesday, there are a goldmine of good project bikes. I got room in my trailer for an extra if anyone is interested in a bike. Let me know your budget and what your interested in, and how dirty you wanna get workin on it. Wink

Heres a little sampler of what we've gotten recently:
2002 Ninja 250 $600
1987 Ninja 750 $300
1987 CBR 600 $200
none of these are pretty but they're mechanically sound

My roomate Joel and I will be more than happy to help get your bike on the road.

Other cheap places to find bikes:
