Hey guys, I'll be up in the Hburg this weekend and was just seeing if there were any fellow MMer's still hanging around up there who might want to get together for a little while or maybe go on a little cruise..
fiveoh2go Wrote:For those that will be in Harrisonburg this summer, there are two pretty good car shows that are just around the corner:
May 29th - Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene is having their first show of the season. Always a good turn out with a variety of cars and trucks to peruse.
June 13th - The Bar-B-Q Ranch's first show of the year, they've been holding it for close to 20 years. This is probably one of the better shows around here. LOTS of old school muscle and hot rods at this one, the newest cars that show up to this event are usually mid 70's vintage. This show runs from 4-9.
also June 13th - Myers Ford in Elkton is holding thier annual car show from 10-2. Myers was the areas only SVT dealer back in the day, as they are a performance oriented dealership from way back. Lots of Mustangs and vintage Fords to take in.

Gotta work Saturday morning/early afternoon so I won't be making it to the Myers Ford show, but I'll be @ The 'Ranch Saturday night (as long as the weather holds out).
hmmm... I'll have to see if I want to go to those.. I'd rather stick around town and hang with some peep's a I know.
I'll be at that BBQ Ranch show. I might be down for finding an interesting route to cruise over...

I was just thinking back on the cruise we had a month ago and what a good time that was. Maybe it's time for another one.....
So, meet at the Rockingham lot at like, 3:30?

The show at the 'Ranch doesn't really get going until 5 or 6, so I guess it all depends on how long everyone wants to ride around on the back roads. The best part of the show is watching all the cars leave, sometime around 9. If we meet up at 4 or even 4:30 that should be plenty of time. What do you guys think?

Sure, as long as the weather cooperates. Just checked Weather.com, they're calling for the rain to roll in around 4.
We'll see, keep your fingers crossed.
