Summit Point - Leaving from JMU/HBurg

So Goodspeed and I just had a nice little chat about this weekend's track days at Summit Point. I know there's some interest from current MMers and others around H-Burg, so here's the plan for tomorrow...

We'll meet up at the Rockingham lot (as always!) at 10:45 AM to leave by 11. Summit Point is in West Virginia and roughly 1.5 hours away based on the route that we're taking. Route 11 runs parallel to 81 and should be fairly scenic, especially compared to 81.

The afternoon driving sessions are HPDE 3 and 4, aka the people who can give ride-alongs to the people like us. Goodspeed is going to bring some helmets for people to use, but if you have one to bring, please do.

Let either of us know if you have questions or need a ride. Hopefully we'll see some people tomorrow morning Big Grin

Be careful taking 340 through Berryville. Also, Be extremely careful going through the small towns up Rte 11. They like to nail out of towners.

Yeah, I'll be there. We are headed up tonight. We are staying at my parents house, so we'll see you tomorrow mid day I guess.

You heading over there Saturday?

Im trying to do a bunch of car work tomorrow-- Im back up home in Nova-- but might consider running out to Summit for a while.

We'd get there at about 12:30ish, hang out for a few hours, then probably hit the highway back. I'd imagine 4:30-5 perhaps.
