WTB: 20' foot enclosed
#1
If you see one, shout one. I've looked on CL, Racing Junk, and NASA Forums.

I'd rather not spend money on a new truck, atm or rather not shit my pants with a trailer too long for the F150 like a 24'. 24' is probs doable, but may not be the most fun.

Budget ~$6k. Hoping for a somewhat finished trailer. Aluminum frame preferred

Ideal:

Cabinets
Winch
A/C
Tire rack(s)
Finished floor or walls

Taylor wants a trailer so I may sell him the open if the right enclosed trailer is found

Nah, but it will open up storage space in the garage though. As well as my truck's bed space...

Did you talk to Charlie? 6 is what he's asking for his. Don't know how big it is. Pretty sure he towed it with a suburban though

24' and yeah I saw. It's do-able, but 24' is going to be a lot for the F150 from an overall size perspective? I'd for sure be I hope only around 7k pounds fully loaded

find two of these mysterious 20 feet long finished enclosed trailers. I am also in the market.

I might buy new from pro-line and add my own stuff.

the more research i do, about 90% of the budget trailers are all coming out of GA. I think this is the issue you will read with the "warranty" contacts. That one you linked has a lot of warranty issues... there are even some reviews with pro-line trailers with warranty stuff. i think its all hit or miss. it would be best to really go over the details of any trailer and hook it up and pull it to make sure it pulls straight.

Red truck + red trailer = actual Clifford

Found the one I think. See if I can talk them down a little: https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/tro/...27816.html

That's a dealer? Was on owner selection and didn't say it was a dealer

Look at the photos. There are about 10 other trailers within view. Likely a dealer unless they took their photos at a self-storage facility.

They called me back. It's personal sale not business. Doesn't know anything about trailers. Doesn't know if it has radial tires, etc. Hasn't repacked the bearings in over a year. The good thing is it has title and otherwise has the features. No damage and "is as described". He's getting rid of it because it's too much for what he needs with his sons 4 wheeling and other stuff

Hoping maybe DJ can check it out before I decide to drive 4 hours one way

Random question & excuse me while I fart in the general direction of your thread, but I've always wondered: why do trailers have these insane bearing maintenance schedules? We can get 100k+ miles out of many automotive bearings, but can't get trailer bearings to last 10k miles without servicing or replacement?
