way too expensive, and they didn't even figure out its rwd. those cars should be like 1000 bucks tops. you can find alot of way better beaters for 3 grand. just ask Dave :lol:
lol, seriously, 3 grand is WAY too much for that piece...
the only reason you'd get one is if it was rwd, the fact that it's fwd makes it completely undesirable IMO....and it's pink
it isn't fwd, that's scotty's point. the owner doesn't even know what they have and want that much.

Its rear wheel drive though, Jay. The seller screwed up in the listing. It is a GTS.

BTW, busted 240 > busted AE86 unless you're putting the 1G-GTE in there :twisted: 8)
hmmmm, Justin, you DO need to get an 86 so that I can convince you to do this swap, since Blair has too much sand in his trap :wink:
i was thinking about that, depends what kind of shape i am able to find one in, but it's a possiblilty :twisted: , mmm i can smell the burning rubber already...

The AE86 hype is ridiculous. They're good cars but for $3250 you can get an N/A FC which will kick the shit out of an AE86 in every category. Hell, I got a turbo FC for $2k.
So here it is, a clean FC for only $600 more than that POS Corolla: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&paId=131352957&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&recnum=16&leadExists=true&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_30_%7CD-_284_%7CN-N%7CR-500%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-22079&aff=national">http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.js ... f=national</a><!-- m -->

yeah, for a while people were putting FCs on craigslist for under $2k
even saw a couple for $1k
seems like they are back up to the $2500-$3k range now though

"All aboard the bandwagon!" This might be the time to start snatching up FC's. Hell, an E30 325 would probably make a better drift car than the Corolla. I think the 325 is still under the radar in that respect.
Come to think of it, you could build a Spec E30 and double duty it as a drift car...
