Not mad, I just find it dumb and pointless. There are other serial offenders of this on this board as well.

Polen does have a point. Like I don't mind playing along because we're all friends, but it does get old with everyone doing it. I'm guilty myself.

You guys are so easy to rustle. The new wagon is CPO Golf TDI Sportwagon SEL. The post-dieselgate cars are running through dealerships and being resold, all with a 2 year/unlimited mile warranty. The only "fix" was a software flash, which will get an APR tune later this year. It'll come home after all of the CPO stuff is done sometime this week. We had a 2012 (MK6) Jetta wagon that was sold back to VW, and considered one of those, but the MK7's are nicer cars to spend time in.
Once the E91 sale is done, the shopping for a 2nd car begins, but I think I am honing in on a S4 Avant as a 2nd car. RJ, didnt you have a B7 Audi and sold it? Yeah, I did, and I have many ragrets about that one. But wait RJ, dont you hate unreliable german cars? I do, but its not so stressful if i can take a week or so to fix it myself while still having a newer, warrantied car to drive to work and the B7's are still pretty DIY friendly. I'll either find a car thats had its timing chains updated, or go in with an offer with consideration of the budget to have the job done. I also have the itch for a TT-RS, and I know these two cars are worlds apart, but I think I want some V8 noises in my life, I have an affliction for german cars, and still want 3-pedals, and dont want another E90 so my choices get pretty thin here.
Here's some crappy phone photos

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
I had a hunch it was a sport wagon with a big turbo slapped on. I was close.

Perhaps I'm finally getting sensible in my advanced age.

Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk The headlight output is abismal, but I'd recommend led bulbs designed for reflector housings instead of replacing the housings. I'm not happy with the quality of the helix R-style projector housings even with the hid kit. Lighting output is good with HIDs, but the mechanics of the adjustments are plastic and don't work well.
Getting the oem hids are a REALLY expensive replacement when I checked years ago, but that could've changed.
Have a buyer for the E91 - they had a PPI done at auto scandia last week and it went about how I expected, brakes getting near end of life and the oil pan is *just* starting to sweat, so its probably got a year or so before it turns into a leak and requires its subframe-out gasket replacement.
I'm happy with the price, should have my check in hand this week and he's working on shipping it out to Ohio where it will presumably return back to the earth in short order
I'm pretty happy with the TDI wagon as its replacement. Drove it down to DC yesterday and it was nice to be unconcerned about the shitty roads everywhere where it was always a little stressful in the E91, its quieter, the torque and lighter clutch/steering are nice for daily driving. Good car.
