No idea why people aren't even responding to this. (09-25-2018, 10:15 AM)Deceus Wrote: Can we get a rough head count at some point? Also reiterating that parking is going to take some coordinating.

I guess I'll leave the student headcount to Jackson or Brandon or whoever wants to tackle that part. Getting an alumni count might be a little harder. No one has really responded to the event created in the AluMMni chat so I might try throwing out a poll next week. Or someone could send out an email, idk whatever works to get a rough estimate on the cars and people coming.

Yeah I was trying to get an Alum count and nobody really confirmed in the chat. I’ll get a rough student count in the coming days.

I'm 99% out. I'm flying home from Florida that day, and will likely be exhausted from traveling with a 5 year old.

Chan, RJ, Julie, Peter, etc. If you or anyone else could reach out to the usual attendees and get an answer from them and get that info to Brandon for a total count, that'd be great. I'm more so concerned about the total number of cars than people. My driveway can hold 4 if we don't block anyone in, about 8-9 if we do. There's decent street parking for another 3-4 on my side of the road and probably another 3-4 can park in the cul de sac. Anything beyond that and we'll need to get a little creative.
I can pick people up the day of and take them back the next day. I'll ping people on FB after work.

Yeah worse case scenario people can park at the diner/car wash 2 minutes from my place and get a ride there and back. It's not a bad option for anyone not staying the night. We'll save the street parking for people that are down to shuttle a bit and the driveway for people crashing at my place if there ends up being a lot of cars. Might not be necessary, we'll see what the alumni numbers are looking like since I assume most are going to be bringing their car.
Unsure yet if we can make it up, so I haven’t chimed in.

Seriously, pls fill this out. Can't have a Turducken if no one brings food.
Really need someone to bring something and maybe split the bird. I don't have the money or inclination to fund the bird entirely myself.
Updated with what I'm bringing. Gotchu guys for some apps, a side, an unopened box of Franzia (someone must slap the bag, who isn't me) and an assload of napkins I'll never use up.
I think my plan will be to head down Saturday afternoon and crash somewhere that night.

I know you'll probably find somewhere closer to Massanutten or to H'burg, but if you need a place to stay I got an extra room that's always yours if you need it.

Should be plenty of space to crash at my place. There's 2 sectionals, one of them can turn into a queen sized bed, a queen guest bed, a twin bed in the kid's room and a ton of floor space for air mattresses. I have a queen and twin air mattress but I'm not sure how many people plan on staying so if anyone has one, bring it.
I probably won't be going to Turducken since I'm on call next weekend, but I've got plenty of spots to crash if anyone needs one. There will likely be people hanging out at my place though so if you're trying to go to sleep early that wouldn't be ideal.
