Someone bring a stump, we can plan a cruise for the next morning depending on which date is chosen, and how "hydrated" everyone was the night before

You must've been unconscious in your time in MM, because this is an alumni planned event.

1. Food
I'm going to smoke a decent sized pork butt and probably make some loaded potato salad.
2. Supplies
I've got a TON of plastic silverware so check that off.
3. Beverages
If someone wants to let me borrow a large cooler or 2 that would probably go a long way to keep everyone's drinks cold. I don't have a kegerator like Dave so keep that in mind if anyone is planning on getting a keg like last time.
4. Games/Things to do
Current plan is to setup fast and the furious in the downstairs living room, forza in the upstairs living room, pong in the basement and cornhole in the backyard if someone has a set of boards I can borrow. Open to more ideas
5. People to offer up lodging and rides
I have 2 air mattresses, 2 couches and a decent amount of floor space for anyone that needs/wants to crash at my place. If there is an afterparty: I will personally buy anyone a case of beer (or a nice six pack) that's willing to stay sober and shuttle people.
6. An After party?
I'm fine with a good ole fashion club sausagefest but if people are looking to invite their friends, tinder flings or anything like that then it's probably best to setup an after party somewhere closer to town. Significant others are obviously welcome as long as they know what they're getting into. Anyone from the club is obviously free to stay til morning.

A keg just sitting in your garage will be fine. I'll talk to RJ about the bird. Give me some time and I'll get a PotLuck event set up for us to organize food and I'll reach out to alums to secure drinks and stuff. Let's hop on a phone call sometime closer to organize a bit more.

And this is already the most organized Turducken yet.  Be prepared for mashed potatoes on the ceiling.  RJ's old house probably still has them caked to the ceiling. I'll never forget that year, and the ice luge, and putting Rex on a train the next morning smelling like that town drunk! He will tell you it was worth it though! I'm kinda sorry to miss this, but I think there are younger Alumni that can keep this tradition alive.

Yes, but it made for a nice place to party without feeling bad.

I didn't go to college to have a keg sit in a garage.

Chris, swing by sometime with your truck, we'll load up the kegerator to sit in your garage.

Can we get something more apt for drinking games? I'll chip in for the keg. I like good beer, don't get me wrong, but we should get something for more casual drinking. I remember playing that game in the garage with that yuengling keg, haha.

Will do Dave. I'll reach out once it's closer.

Definitely agree the keg beer should be drinking game beer but I probably won't be the one buying or drinking it so that's outta my hands. Maybe my fellow beer snobs can get together and pool some of our fancier stuff to share. I'll at least have some Minute Man and Hardywood Pils on hand.  Any thank you beers offered will be greatly appreciated just throwing that out there too.

Hey everyone! This year Turducken is going to be a little different!

In the morning from 10am-12, MAAP and MM will be having a car show at the City Municipal Building (next to the farmers market). MM students and alum will have their own section reserved, and the rest will be full of classic Porsches and other cool cars.

Then we can all head to Chris’ house for the normal Turducken shenanigans. There will be a MAAP open house if any of you are truly interested between 2-4.

Finally, on Sunday the 21st, MM will be leading a PCA cruise up 33 West towards the campsite. All Alum, family, and friends are welcome to join. That will start at 10am, and we will be meeting at MAAP to begin the cruise.

FYI - MAAP address is:

1070 Virginia Ave
Harrisonburg, VA 22802

Can we get a rough head count at some point? Also reiterating that parking is going to take some coordinating.
